If it's fate

Part 30: Hospital

We finished our business at the restaurant and we are going home, to my parent's house.
We get home and Wendy and my mom are on the couch. When they see us they get up. Worried. We all go sit down in the living room.
My mom goes over to my dad.
"Henry, you didn't do anything... not good?" She asks.
"Yes, he did!" Marco says.
"Henry!" She says.
"Cathy, our daughter is getting married." My dad says.
"Getting married," my mom says. "When?"
"In 2 weeks." My dad says.
"2 weeks oh... wait TWO WEEKS, Henry how are we going to prepare in two weeks, we are going to be running around everywhere. It takes months for things to be ordered and such. Henry, two weeks is not enough time..."
"Mom, it's fine, we'll just have a small wedding. Just family." Ella says.
"Are you not stressed, also you are pregnant," Wendy says.
"No," Ella says.
"Wendy, Candy, go with Ella tomorrow, to the hospital. Go check her condition." My mom says.

"Mom, you know someone named Karl?" Marco asks.
"Yes, he's your dad's buddy from back to his teen years. It has been a long time since we saw him, huh Henry?"
"We met him today," Marco says.
"Who? Karl? How?" My mom says.
"His youngest brother is Ella's boyfriend, and his son is dating Candy." My dad says.
"His son is dating Candy! Wait he's the guy.. you told me about... oh, what a small world." My mom says.
"You knew she was dating someone?" My dad asks.
"Yes, she told me, I told you, remember? You don't remember," my mom says.
"Okay, enough talking, we have to prepare, you guys don't think of sitting, you guys made arrangements for a wedding in 2 weeks, we will have to sacrifice sleep also... blah blah..."

"Daddy!" The twins come running to Marco.
"Mina, Mino, you guys will have a baby cousin soon..." Marco says.
"Where?" They both ask.
"In Aunt L's tummy," Wendy says.
Mina walks over to Ella. And reaches her hand out. Ella puts her hand on her stomach.
"The baby is in here," Ella says.
"Really!" Mina says happily.
Mino walks over to Ella curiously.
"Really, how long until we will meet the baby?"
"Soon," Ella says.
"Does mommy have one?" Mina asks.
We all look at Wendy.
"No, but do you want a younger sibling?" Wendy asks them.
"Yeah, I want 5," Mino says
"That's A lot," I say.
"No, I want 6," Mina says.
We all laugh.

Mark comes down from upstairs. We all look at him.
"What, you've never seen an angel before?" He says.
"Yeah, never..." I say sarcastically.

(Next day)
The doorbell rings. I go open it. It's Wendy.
"Hey, ready to go?" She asks.
"Yeah, but come in, Ella is in the bathroom showering, Let me go check on her," I say.
I head upstairs and go into Ella's room.

(Later at the hospital)

"Elisa Goldy,"
We stand up. Wendy walks with Ella. We are about to walk into the doctor's room until I hear someone say, Ella. I look back, it's Felix, Ella's ex-boyfriend. Ella and Wendy don't notice. They go into the room.
"Hey I have to use the bathroom, I'll be right back," I say.
I walked towards Felix and told him to follow me.
We go to the end of the hall.
"Felix, what are you doing here?" I say.
"Ella, she doesn't answer when I call."
"Obviously she doesn't, Felix, it's over. Do you not understand?"
"But I love her, I can't get over her. It was my mistake." He says loudly.
People start to stare.
"Jeez, don't talk so loud... if you love her let her go."
"It was my mistake, I want a second chance."
"And you think of it now, why didn't you come earlier, then."
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"She is getting married soon, stop bothering her. Don't call or text her." I say.
"No, why are you lying. That's not true."
He looks down and looks back up at me. He stares at me. His stare is scary, it looks like he's been possessed or something. He walks closer to me, I take some steps back.
"Ella, can't you see, I love you," he grabs my wrist.
"I'm not Ella, also she doesn't love you anymore," I say trying to let go of his grip.
"Let go, Felix. Let go," I say again. I don't shout because I don't want people to stare.
"Ella, forgive me, come back to me," he says.
"I'm not Ella, let go," I say.
He pushes me to the wall. Grabs my other wrist.
"Let go! Felix!" I say.
"Ella, don't go away from me, I can't live without you."
"Are you insane!" I say pushing him.
He falls on the floor.
"Don't ever think of coming back into Ella's life. She's getting married soon. Go check your brain!" I say at last.
I walk away angrily and people are staring. I walk into the doctor's room.
"Candy, why did you take so long?" Wendy asks.
"Umm... I got lost," I say.
"Where's Ella?" I say.
"She went to pee, the doctor said to go pee in the cup thing," Wendy said.
"You didn't go with her?" I ask.
"No, she insisted that she can go alone."
"Wait where did she go pee?"
"You didn't see her?"
"No!" I say. 

Felix is out there, if he spots Ella, who knows what will happen.
