"I'm sorry, I don't know why I do. I think there might be something poisoning my mind" I feel like I should be ashamed but I've done worse so I'm immune to the feeling. Still, I feel bad.
"It's okay" he licks his ice cream

"Ohhh I love your style" Huening Kai compliments me, and I hate that he's being genuine.
"Thanks, Soobin said I looked like I was desperate for attention" I meant for it to be light hearted but Huening Kai gasped.
"Soobin why would you tell him that?" Huening Kai said in a scolding voice.
"H-he said I looked like I was the lost son of the Adams family!" Soobin defend himself.
"I apologize for him. We're still trying to teach him that he doesn't have to say everything he thinks, he's not good at being social" Huening Kai gives me a friendly smile and when we reach Soobins car he gets in the front seat.
Wow, now I'm stuck sitting in the back. I fucking hate Soobin so much for putting me in this uncomfortable situation.
Psh, so if I dress like I'm desperate for attention then how does he prefer I dress? Like Huening Kai?

Ugh he was even dressed picture perfect.
"You must be close with Soobin huh?" Kai twists his body slightly so he could talk to me, meanwhile Soobin starts driving to exit the parking lots.
The question caught me off guard and for a split second I looked like a deer caught in the head lights.
"What gives you that idea?" Soobin asks Kai with his eyes on the road.
"Well, you two were together at the cafe and now you're giving him a ride home" I found this so funny laughed. The only time Soobin and I saw each other was when I was drunk or shopping.
"Yeah we're so close" I say sarcastically and cross my arms over my chest.
"Don't take his attitude personal, he's still in high school" Soobin tells Huening Kai and he fucking finds this funny. I feel my anger worsen.
"I would have been in college if I didn't get held back for- ..." I stop myself from getting too personal.
"For what?" Huening Kai is nosy.
"Reasons."
"Oh I totally understand! I'm sorry for asking" ugh he's also nice.
I decide to not speak anymore because if I speak it won't be nice.
"How was work?" Soobin asks Kai
"Still training, I learned how to fold clothes today"
"You can practice on my laundry if you'd like"
"Ha ha ha-" each syllable Kai poked Soobins cheek "-you'd sure like that huh"
"Just trying to help you out" I can see Soobins smile in the rear. It makes my chest feel hurt and uncomfortable. I don't think I've ever made him smile like that. He's usually glaring or scolding me.
