We walk out the shop and down to Danny's daycare. I'm glad this town is small, mainly everything is within walking distance.
"I wuv, ice cweam, i wuv ice cweam." Danny said skipping in front of us
while eating his ice cream his brown floppy hair flowing in the wind. His cheeks were extra rosy and his freckles were more visible.
The walk was extra long and the sun came out making it really hot.
The heat beat down on us causing me to sweat and our ice creams to melt faster.
"Alright buddy we’re here." Justin says.
We were standing in front of the daycare.
Justin crouches down so he can be on eye level with Danny.
"Now you be a good little brother and not give Mrs. Gibson in there a hard time or else Ellen will never get you ice cream again."
"i prowmise." he says."Good job." he ruffles his hair and they give each other a big bear hug.
I loved how they were so close even though Danny was only 6 and Justin was nearly 17.
"Eween!" Danny runs over to me and crouch down to pick him up.
"Yes Danny" i say staring into his brown mud puddles for eyes.
"I wuv you and i want yew and Justin to never grow apart, mainly cause i want yew tew keep buying me ice cweams" he said hugging me.
"AWWW arent you the cutest thing."
I feel tears creeping up he was just to darn adorable.
I hugged him really tight and kissed him on the cheek.
He blushed and ran inside the daycare.Me and Justin were tired of walking so we caught a Dart bus to Davidson and we would walk from there to the beach.
It was about 3ish 4 so the sun was still out.
"You know i hate riding these things.. so dirty" i was sitting really close to him practically on his lap.
"Calm down these people dont bite." he says.
Justin rides this bus everyday to school because there arent any school buses that run by his house.
I groan.
After about 30 minutes we go off the bus and headed for the beach.
I loved going there, the view from the pier was so beautiful but the best view is when the sun rises.
I feel my thigh buzz and i pull out my phone.
"where are u?" my mom texted me.
Crap i say.
"Me and Justin went to the beach for a swim i'll be back at 11" i text back.
"okay stay safe. Luv you" she texted back.
"I love you too." i replied.
