"Maam, eto na po yung mga papers na kailangan niyong permahan" nilapag ng secretary ko ang napakaraming paperworks. nakakainis!

Kakarating ko lang from states kahapon at wala pa akong tulog,
Nagleave ako for 4 days dahil graduation ni Bella nung isang araw.

Ang hirap maging CEO! Minsan gusto ko nalang sumuko at takbuhan ang obligasyon ko kahit hindi naman talaga ako ganon ka iresponsable, nakakapagod lang kasi, lalo na kapag hindi mo gusto mo yung ginagawa mo.

I sighed. I'm supposed to be in a hospital right now, wearing a hospital gown and checking up on my patients because my dream was to become a Doctor, but here i am, signing a lot of papers in this damn office.

"Maam, mag iistart na po ang meeting in 5 minutes" Janine, my secretary announced

"Okay, i'll get ready"

Inayos ko lang ang make up ko at sinuot ang coat, dinala ko ang bag ko at lumabas na papunta sa Boardroom.

Lahat ng makakasalubong ko, yumuyuko sakin, that's how powerful i am, pero hindi ko gusto ang ganito, ayaw kong kinakatakutan nila ako, but i think that's also good, para magawa nila ng tama ang trabaho nila

"Maam, nasa meeting din po yung bagong Lawyer ng kompanya" nagsalita ang secretarya ko kaya napalingon ako sakanya

"What? Why? What happened to
Attorney Madregal?"

"Nag resign na po siya Ma'am,
pumunta na po siya sa ibang bansa pero siya rin po pumili ng ipapalit sakanya, chineck ko po yung profile and mukhang pasok naman po siya sa standards mo Maam, inemail ko na po sainyo yun nung nasa states kayo, akala ko po nacheck niyo na, inaprobahan na rin po kasi ni chairman" she added.

I look so surprised, hindi ko alam na may bago na palang Lawyer!

I just nodded. My Dad approved so wala na akong magagawa, kahit ako na ang CEO ng kompanya, mahalaga pa rin ang ideas niya because he knows the best for the company.

Maingay ang boardroom pag ka pasok ko but when they noticed that i'm already here. Tumahimik bigla ang lahat. I gestured them to sit and start

"Miss Almeda I'd like you to meet the new lawyer of the company. You were out of the country so hindi mo pa siya nakikilala" one of the head's of the company spoke up

Mag sasalita na sana ako but someone stood up at naglakad papalapit sakin

My knees trembled! May nagbago sakanya but i'm sure it's him! He was just looking at me at nanginginig na ako dahil sa kaba, i don't fcking know how to act!

"Good morning Ms. Almeda"
He bowed his head to give respect
"I'm Attorney Matteo Gabriel Salvador, the new Lawyer of the Company" he said casually

He was just looking straight into my eyes, like he doesn't even know who i am..

i tried my best to act normal in front of him so i just offered my hands and smiled

"Nice to meet you Attorney,
Thank you for choosing our company" i smiled at him, trying to act normal.

He smirked so i raised my brow and looked at him, confused.
what's so funny?!

"I didn't choose your company,
your company chose me.. Miss Almeda" i looked away, trying to calm myself

Halos lahat ng tao dito sa loob ay
iniiwas sakin ang tingin, trying to hide their smirks.
Pinapahiya niya ko sa harap ng mga empleyado ko!

"Okay, whatever let's start" i rolled my eyes and gestured everyone to sit down

Nakinig nalang ako sa nag pepresent sa harapan, ganon ba siya kagalit sakin para ipahiya niya ko ngayon?

I can't focus to the presenter because i can't keep my eyes off to him. He look so professional in his black suit with his Lawyer badge in it

He became a Lawyer..

I smiled, trying to stop my tears from falling, he's a Lawyer now
and I'm so proud of him.

I miss him so bad, i can't deny that, i want to hug him and beg for him to come back to me, but i just can't, galit siya sakin at baka nga ayaw niya na akong makita ulit.

I will never regret loving him and i will never regret letting him go back then, because seeing him right now makes me so happy, natupad niya ang pangarap niya

kahit wala ako sa tabi niya...
