Your Pov:

I curled up on the sofa, completely ignoring Kristoph. I heard the door lock click and then Phoenix's voice, "You can come out when you figure that out." There was silence for a few minutes. Then, Kristoph spoke, "Sitting there like a child isn't going to help the situation." I glared at him.

"Well I'm sorry that I'm offended because you called me a whore!" He sighed, "I agree that what I said was out of line, but I do not want you to work here." I huffed, "Then where do you suggest I work? I have to pay rent, tuition, and everything else."

He chuckled, "I could always use an assistant. It pays better than this disgusting place." I bit my lip, "When can I start?" He spoke, "As soon as tomorrow." I nodded, "Alright. I'll quit." I called out the door, "Phoenix, we're done. Come open the door."

Phoenix opened the door and let us out. I got my stuff together and looked at Phoenix, "Oh, and tell the boss I quit. I found a better job." I could hear Apollo and Dahlia sigh in relief behind me. Phoenix tilted his head.

"Where?" I gestured towards Kristoph, "With him. As an assistant." Phoenix nodded, "See? I told you that you'd end up getting out of this place." I giggled, "Yeah. I hope you'll survive without me. Better get practicing." I grabbed my duffle bag, "I should get going. Bye Phoenix. I'll keep in contact." Kristoph stayed behind with Phoenix while Apollo and Dahlia walked me home. Apollo spoke.

"I'm glad you quit. Now I know you're safe and sound." Dahlia nodded, "I agree. Those men in there in were dirty dogs and pigs. Chickens too." I smiled, "I'm glad that you guys care about me. I love you guys." Apollo kissed my temple, "I love you too." Dahlia squeezed my hand, "And me as well. And you know I don't do feelings." I giggled, "I know, I know."

Apollo spoke, "As long as we're around (Y/n), I swear you'll never feel helpless." Dahlia smiled, "My life's fine because you're in it." I blushed, "Oh, enough of the complements you two." The rest of the walk to my house was uninteresting and boring.

The two of them dropped me off outside the building before heading back down the sidewalk. I walked up the stairs to my apartment, my legs feeling heavy and making me feel sluggish. I headed inside and locked the door behind me before heading there my bedroom.

I got in my closet and grabbed my night clothes. I took off my old clothes and threw them in the hamper before slipping on my night clothes. I took my make up off and let my hair down before slipping into bed. I grabbed my phone charger and plugged up my phone, texting the three of them a goodnight and stay safe text before resting my head on my pillow. I closed my eyes and drifted off.
