Luciano was swamped. He was well aware that he hadn't been to see Emiola in weeks.
He was struggling to manage his workload and life at home. He had a three week business trip to New York. Everyday filled to the brim with meetings.
He would plan a nice surprise for Emiola and the children as an apology. Her treatment ended two days after he left for New York and Geoffrey had said she had settled in with life at home nicely over the past 4 days and the bill had been settled.
Luciano laughed as squeals sounded through the phone. "Daddy" happy voices laughed as they heard their dads voice for the for the first time in 4 days.
He spoke to them listening to their little stories about life at home. "Where's Loai?" Luciano questioned noticing he was missing from the conversation.
"Loai gone." Luna said sadly. Luciano sat up quickly in his bed. "What do you mean gone?" He asked bewildered by her answer.
"Mama and Loai gone." Luna murmured tears in her eyes. "We miss mama." Xavier said giving Luna a hug.
Luciano was confused. "Geoffrey. Give Geoffrey the phone." Luciano said trying not to panic. His panic increased when he heard Geoffreys voice on the phone.
"What have you done?" Luciano tried to keep his voice level.He was met with silence. "I swear to God Geoffrey."Luciano seethed.
"She threatened my family." Geoffrey whispered. "Fuck." Luciano whispered his hands settling on the top of his head before dragging down his face.
"Just tell me where she is." Luciano sighed trying to remain calm.
"I don't know. Last week I was told to give her a letter, move her stuff into storage and give her Loai. However, when I went back the next day it turned out she had discharged herself from hospital."
"So she's been gone how long?"
"Almost two weeks." Geoffrey replied timidly.
"I want you to be gone by the time I'm home ." Luciano said coldly before cutting the phone. He questioned if he had been too harsh.
He needed to find her and fast.
"I need your team to search for Emiola. She could be anywhere in town. She may not have fully recovered and she has Loai with her. I will try to get back by next week."
"Yes sir."
"Keep me updated." Was all he said before cutting the call and rushing to his planner. Luciano couldn't return home until he finished all his meetings and that worried him greatly.
He also now had Eliza to worry about.
"That bitch is a fucking curse." He muttered as he grabbed his blazer off the chair before proceeding to his next meeting.
