[HIATUS]
Book #2 of the "My Sunshine" series (read that first)
Back from a near death experience, you and Rosé discover your love goes back way further than you realized. You begin a new chapter of your life together with her in Seoul. You both swea...
Alice joined you and Rosie on the flight to Auckland, New Zealand. Both sets of parents had left the day before to catch up a little, and Alice's boyfriend Kyle would also be joining. Rosie was giddy and wouldn't stop thanking and hugging you. She said you didn't have to spend money on her and she would pay you back, but after Hawaii you weren't about to let her. She was so grateful she even offered to share her food, which she considered one of the highest honors.

On the plane you got to know Alice a little more. She was very calm, intelligent and mature, and you could tell she was protective of Rosie as her little sister. You understood where she was coming from; Rosie was so pure and precious, but that also left her naive and vulnerable at times. Alice had seen Rosie get hurt in the past, so she was a little cold to you at first.
That all changed when Rosie revealed that you were her childhood best friend back in New Zealand. A huge smile appeared on Alice's face as she remembered seeing you and Rosie together as kids. You remembered her a little bit too, and soon you and Alice were chatting.
"The Busan tournament was amazing. We would've won too if you hadn't scored at the last minute" she said with a smile. "Rosie, tell (y/n) to miss next time."
Rosie put her hand on yours and gave you a shimmering smile, proud to call herself your girlfriend.
You laughed. "Hey, there's no way I'd take it easy on you, you made it hard enough as it is! Your goal was great too Alice, you played well."
You got really deep into conversation with her, who was much warmer and friendlier now. Rosie frowned from the middle seat as you and her sister talked across her. At one point Alice started telling you an embarrassing story about Rosie, who had had enough at that point. She slid the partition shut between her and Alice so you couldn't see each other anymore.
"Rosie!" You heard Alice exclaim behind the partition. Rosie giggled and sneaked in a quick kiss before Alice opened it up again. You laughed. It was the classic older/younger sister situation.
When you got to the airport in Auckland you spotted your parents in the distance. As you approached they couldn't contain their emotions. Both your mothers started crying, and your fathers looked like they weren't too far away either.
Rosie's parents were overjoyed to see you and their daughter back together. Mason, her father, wasn't usually one for hugs but this was a special occasion. Her mother Clare squeezed you so tight you nearly burst. You also met Alice's boyfriend Kyle who seemed nice enough, but he was quite a bit older (like almost 30) so you couldn't relate to him much.
Everyone was staying in these cute little beachfront cottages just like the old days.
