Jun had just left you with a lot to digest. You stared up at the ceiling. For the first time, a seed of doubt had been planted in your defiant pride. You banged your fist on the counter and poured yourself a drink, not caring it was only 10:30 am.

Rosie didn't come that night and stayed in the dorm again. You drank until you could barely stand, and ended up passed out on the couch.

When you woke up the next day you felt shitty about everything; the fight, the guilt, the hangover, all of it. You called Rosie and tried to convince her to come home, but she said she needed space for now. You could hear Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo whispering in the background. You begged and pleaded, and eventually she caved when you said you would cook her kimchi stew for dinner.

It was great to have have her back home again, but this time everything was cold and stiff between you two; there was no more fighting, but there wasn't much talking either. She seemed distant, like there was something heavy on her mind.

You should've known all it would've taken was an apology for her to forgive you; maybe you did, but it was too hard to admit you were wrong. At least in the next few days you somewhat acknowledged your wrongdoings by acting nicer and spending more time with her, which she seemed to appreciate. On Thursday night you settled into bed together.

"(Y/n), I'm leaving for Japan tomorrow afternoon" she said quietly. "We won't see each other for a few weeks."

"Yeah, I know Rosie." You moved closer to her, feeling the comforting warmth of her body that you had started to take for granted.

"I'm going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too."

You cuddled up close and stared into each other's eyes. Usually when you did this all you could see was love - it was still there, but lately there was a bit of uncertainty mixed in. You searched each others eyes, looking for signs that might reveal deeper feelings.

"Your flight is at 4:00 pm right?" you asked. She nodded.

"I have the meeting with Nike early tomorrow, but after why don't we meet at noon for lunch? Then there's this art exhibition Solar told me about, I thought you might like to go see it... I know you love art."

A smile crept onto Rosie's face. "I'd love that" she said and planted a kiss on your lips. "That's so sweet of you to think of me."

"Anything for my princess" you said, happy to make her smile again. However, there was something about the way she worded that - "to think of me" - that made it seem as though you usually didn't. Nevertheless, you two were happy to be getting along again, and you pulled each other in close, staying like that until you fell asleep.

When you woke up it seemed brighter than it should have. You checked the clock: 8:07 am. The meeting with Nike was supposed to be at 8:30. You sprinted downstairs where Rosie was eating breakfast.

"It's already past 8?! Why didn't you wake me up Chae?!"

"I tried (y/n), but you were out cold" she said with a small smile.

"What the hell! Now I'm going to be late." You shoved some fruit in your mouth and scrambled back upstairs to the bedroom to get some clothes on and look presentable.
