You and Rosie enjoyed a special moment alone by your hospital bed, reminiscing fondly about those summers in New Zealand as kids. The two of you would play together, swim together, explore together and sing together. You laughed remembering the time Rosie tried to pick up a crab and got bit; you had hugged her while she cried and tried to kiss it better. You also remembered the time an older kid was bullying you, and Rosie stood up for you even though she was half his height and terrified.

Both your and her parents thought your little friendship was the cutest thing ever, and always joked you would get married one day. You liked and cared for each other so much that you were inseparable. That's why the summer that Rosie moved to Australia hadn't just broken your heart, but hers too.

"(Y/n), when my family told me we were moving the first thing I thought of was not being able to see you. I tried to get my parents to stay, and when they wouldn't I cried and didn't come out of my room for days. The worst part was when summer came and I knew you would be waiting for me. It broke my heart. I really loved you."

"I loved you too, even if our parents didn't believe it. It hurt so much when I came back that year and you were just gone. I think that's why we couldn't remember each other for so long, our brains repressed the painful memory."

"Must have, because there's no other way I could've forgotten you. It's funny, even though we didn't remember when we met again on the hike, we felt this connection right away that went all the way back to childhood."

After you shared a kiss you realized everyone else was waiting outside and considering you dead. You walked outside the hospital room and everyone screamed to see you alive. Your family cried and hugged you, not wanting to let go.

The doctors thought your recovery from the coma was a miracle. They had been sure that no treatment would be able to bring you back. What they didn't know is how strong your love with Rosie was, and how it could move mountains even medicine couldn't.

"How is it possible?" your mother cried.

"Mom, Dad you won't believe this, it's incredible. My girlfriend's song brought me back from the coma. By the way, did you know what her name is?"

Your parents frowned. "I guess we never payed attention... we were too worried about you. Although she's very pretty."

You motioned for Rosie to step forward. She smiled shyly. "Hi~ I'm Rosie. Maybe you don't remember me, it's been a long time."

Your parents looked at each other, confused; they looked back at Rosie, trying to understand what she meant. Suddenly their eyes opened as wide as owls as they recognized her face and the truth hit them. For a moment they were too shell shocked to speak. Then they almost crushed her to death with hugs.

"I can't believe it, I honestly can't!" your father exclaimed with tears in his eyes. "Roseanne Park, back with our (y/n) after all these years. There must be a God, because you two are a match made in heaven."

Your mother looked at her fondly. "Awe Rosie, you were always such a little sweetheart. And now look at you, you've grown up to become such a lovely and beautiful young lady."

Rosie blushed and tried to say she wasn't beautiful, but you weren't having any of it. You were so proud to call her your girl and you wanted to brag about her.

"Mom, Dad you're also not going to believe how successful Rosie is. She's a member of Blackpink, a famous Korean girl group."

"Blackpink, I've heard of them!" your father exclaimed. "They were in the Coachella documentary!"

Your mother gasped. "She's in Blackpink? I saw them on Good Morning America! Oh my god - you were the blonde one weren't you! Didn't you have blonde hair?!"
