"Hey Rosie I'm home" you said one night. You had just came back from a charity event, which was after a team meeting, which was after a 3 hour practice. You were exhausted.

"Hey sweetheart" she said, wrapping her arms around your waist. "I'm happy to see you."

"I'm happy to see you too" you said, suddenly remembering an email from Nike you'd forgotten. You tried to break the hug but Rosie kept holding on.

"I don't get to see you very much these days" she said sadly.

"I'm doing the best I can Rosie."

"But what about last Saturday? We were supposed to go hiking together."

"I was so burned out - can't I rest once in a while?"

"But you were burned out because you spent all night clubbing with Gavin."

She was right. You didn't really have an excuse for that.

She continued, "You know, I don't think Gavin's such a good influence... he spends so much time partying, and he's known to keep many girls around. And those girls are not the type to go to church (y/n)."

"He's not that bad."

"(Y/n) he's a known playboy!"

"So what?? It's his life, he can do what he wants! Just because he does that stuff doesn't mean I have to. Can't you trust me a little?"

"I know (y/n) I'm sorry. I just... worry because you cancelled on me a couple times to go clubbing with him."

"Sorry Chaeng I shouldn't have cancelled, but I was stressed and I needed to let it out. And I'm allowed to have other friends too you know."

"(Y/n) I want you to have friends and be happy. I'm only warning you about Gavin because I care about you, I know how stressed you've been."

"Well then the best thing you can do is not add to my stress. Also, I don't need your approval for who I hang out with. Have a little faith."

She was going to say something but her face fell. "Ok. I'll try" she said as she went upstairs to the bedroom.

Rosie never really got angry, she just got sad. You felt guilty which made you even more annoyed. Instead of going to comfort her you turned on your Xbox and played FIFA to let off steam, and you didn't stop playing until really late when she was already asleep.
