Chelsea POV

Today I was going to the Brockmans again. I only wanted to go so I could get away from my house. Plus me and Jake seemed to be getting on really well.

At school, he came up to me where I was writing notes for an assessment and told me that they were going to the farm for Karen's birthday.

"But you can still come if you want, that's what mum said,"

"Oh yeah, I'll still come," I said with a smile.

Then, Daniel came over. He pushed Jake out of the way and glared at him.

"Hey Chelsea," he said. Ugh, I hoped this wasn't a repeat of the other day. Jake walked off to the the back of the classroom.

Daniel sat on my desk.

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Nothing, just to talk to you," he gave me what he probably thought was a 'charming smile' but just ended up being a toothy grin. "And seeing as your mates aren't here, I guess I can,"

"Meaning?"

"Well yesterday they told me to get lost, remember? What happened anyway? Why does your eye have a bruise on it?"

My hair was covering it, but he tucked it behind my ear. He tried to touch my bruise but I jerked my head back.

I looked up at him with one eyebrow raised and he just smirked right back. I wanted to smack it right off his face.

"Go away and eat crap from the toilet," I said.

He stroked my hair again then walked off, still smirking.

Ew.

I was in the Brockmans packed car. Sue was driving with Jake's grandad in the passenger seat. Angela was sitting next to Jake, who was listening to music and sitting next to Karen who was in front of me. I was in the back with Ben. The kid can be a little annoying but he's quite funny and it got my mind off everything.

"Chelsea, does you mum know your coming?" Sue asked.

"Um, y-yeah she does," I said. No she doesnt I thought.

Everyone was really irritating Sue so she started off playing the lie game.

"Let's see who can tell the biggest lie,"

"I'm a toilet," Ben said.

"I have the deadly Ebola virus and we're all going to die within the next 24 to 48 hours," Jake said.

Sue was clearly fed up of stupid stuff so she said, "Karen, your go,"

"I like aunty Angela,"

"Oh that's lovely sweetie but let's get on with the game-"

"That was part of the game,"

I burst out laughing. I couldn't help it.

"I smell burning," Jake's Grandad said.

"Oh yeah I do actually," Sue said then started panicking.

"I was lying,"

"What?"

"I was playing the game,"

"Oh!" Sue then started laughing. She then got really angry because we were stuck in traffic and everyone was beeping their horns at her. Welcome to the A3 road.

Ben started a conversation with me.

"So Chelsea, how did you get your name? Do you support Chelsea?"

"Oh no I don't. I'm named after my cousin,"

"Does she support Chelsea?"

"I don't know I never met her,"

"Who do you-"

"Ben, leave her alone she doesn't want to be bored by your stupid questions," Jake said.

"Yes she does!"

This went on for sometime until Ben decided he needed the toilet.

She handed Angela a box and said, "Can you climb over and help him?"

"Help him?" Angela replied, "How?"

"Well, hold it!"

"Hold what?" I snorted. The box Angela, you don't want to touch his willy.

"The box, otherwise it'll go everywhere!"

"I'm not peeing in a box!" Ben complained.

Finally, we were at the farm. We were sitting on a picnic bench and Karen said,

"That lady's fat,"

And Sue has to shut her up but with great difficulty.

"She must know she's fat, cos if she looks in the bathroom mirror and then she sees a fat lady..."

"Karen!"

These kids were very funny.

"Chelsea, did Paige not want to come?" Sue asked me.

"Oh err she's... sick, sooo she can't come," I answered. I wasn't exactly lying, but I still felt bad. Maybe it was because I had left Paige at home with dad while I was out having fun.
