~Y/N's pov~
"I'm glad your here Ella." I smiled and opened the door for my cousin. "Yeah ok, why exactly am I here?" she asked. I quickly peered my head out the door and scanned. "Y/N what are you doing?" Ella questioned. I looked at her and pulled her in, "We need to talk." I pulled out a chair and sat down. "About what? Y/N of it's about those dreams again I swear-" I cut her off, "No it's something serious." I looked at her nervously.
"Well tell me then." she urged. I sighed and looked behind me, "I think I'm being watched." I looked at Ella. "What?" Ella glanced at me.
"For the past few weeks, people have been lingering around here, more than usual. It's getting really scary." I panicked. "Y/N I've told you a thousand times, your just being paranoid, your business is probably just gaining more attention." she explained.
But I didn't buy it, "Ella I'm serious, I feel like there watching me everyday, I'm just scared that George might find me." I nervously urged her. Ella looked at me and sighed, "Y/N your being over dramatic, George has probably given up, I mean how long has it been since you last received a letter from him?" Ella glared at me.
"Maybe a year or two-" I replied. "And how many times have you seen or even heard a British soldier around here?" Ella questioned. I glanced sideways, "None.."
"Exactly! I don't understand why your freaking out Y/N. As far as I know George is probably out there making some other young girl marry him. It may surprise you Y/N but George probably doesn't care about you anymore." Ella glared.
I looked up at her amd bowed my head." I'm sorry Y/N but your being quite selfish. Just because your life is slightly less good, it doesn't mean some demon is out to get you. Maybe you could actually appreciate your situation for once." She half yelled.
"When have I ever done that?" I looked at her. Ella furrowed her brow, "I don't know Y/N? Maybe escaping from a life of luxury. I mean god dammit, you're freaking out like George finding you is hell. I mean if he found you would it be so bad?" she hissed. I looked to the ground, "You don't understand what it was like." I mumbled.
"Really Y/N!? I wonder who was also trapped in that hell of a castle? Oh wait, me! Stop acting like your the only one suffering." she shouted.
"I-I" I looked down. Ella glared at me and stormed out, "I'm sorry, but you're going to have to understand that he'll give up too, not everyone loves you Y/N." Ella spoke and stormed out. Shutting the door behind her. I stared down at my hands and hugged myself.
Maybe I really was selfish, but I don't need George's love.
Well thats what I keep telling myself.
~Ben's pov~
"So you all know why were gathered here today." Oliver smiled and winked at me, "Our Benjamin here has finally been promoted to Captain." Oliver raised his glass and the the rest of the table did as well. I smiled, slightly blushing, "Thank you guys, I'm just glad to have you all."
"So now your Captain what do you think you'll do after the war?" Oliver smiled. "Probably return to England to be honest. Might get back my job as being a guard." I smiled. Oliver smiled, "Well let's hope we win this war. Then we can get back home to our families." Everyone cheered and some took another sip of beer.
Knock!Everyone's head turned to the door. "Hello? I have an urgent message for Mr Oliver." a voice called out. Oliver rolled his hazel eyes and moved towards the door. I watched him open the door. "Yes. What is it?" he asked. The messager looked at him nervously and handed him a piece of paper. Oliver snatched it, "Thank you, now please leave." he waved his hand at the messager. The messageer quickly bowed and he walked away. Oliver smirked to himself and layed out the piece of paper on the table.
"Looks like all of us here might be rich too." Oliver smiled. "What do your mean?" I asked. Oliver lifted his head and smirked, "The King has offical declared for us to kidnapped Y/N, he's offering a larger sum for anyone who can retrieve her." Everyone's eyes widened, "You know what this means boys." Oliver smiled, and everyone waited for his order.
"Were going to kidnap a Queen."
