~Y/N's pov~
"I don't want to leave."
I looked at Ella and her blue eyes widened but dilated. She turned around and pulled my arm, "Y/N we don't have time for this let's go." She spoke. I pulled my arm harder and broke free from her grip, she turned back around and looked at me, "Y/N come on." She urged me. I walked backwards and glared at her firmly. "I told you, Ella, I don't want to leave." I snapped back.
Ella looked at me confused and walked forward, "Y/N, come on we don't have time for this angsty shit, we need to go." my glared deepened and I moved backwards again, "Ella I'm not leaving!" I yelled back. Ella looked at me fazed and she rubbed her temple. "He has you under his control doesn't he?" She glared. I furrowed my brow and she shifted slightly, "I don't know what George had been whispering into your ears, but your relationship with him isn't love." she argued.
I scoffed slightly and slid on my jacket, "I know Ella, but maybe if I try I can care, I mean he's done these things for me and showed me so much affection and yet I haven't given him anything back." I explained. But Ella didn't by it, she moved closer to me, cornering me, "Y/N can't you see, you don't have to give him any of that love back. You know why? Because that love is forced, everything he 'does' for you is against your will. Y/N you need to see that your whole relationship with George will never work." she spat back in frustration.
I looked down slightly and clenched my eyes slightly." Does it really matter Ella, I mean after everything I've done and all the pain I've caused him maybe staying will be okay? I mean Frederick and Matilda need their father so maybe I need George." I spoke quietly.
Ella scoffed in frustration but then gave me a look of sympathy, "Y/N I know you think you have a responsibility as a mother and wife but don't think that that is all you are. Y/N you had dreams more imaginative than mine and you were awesome." she remarked. I chuckled slightly but lowered my head again, "Why do you even care Ella, I mean the last thing you said to me before I was kidnapped, was that I was selfish. How come that's changed?" I questioned.
Ella's eyes widened again and she glanced sideways awkwardly, "I-I guess I realised that you were right?" she replied. I glared deeper into her blue eyes and smiled. "So you think that you were wrong? Hate to break it to you but you were right." I swallow my tears slightly and shifted slightly. "I am selfish, I mean the person who loves me hasn't even given up on me even when I gave up on him. I know I never loved George but if I give him a chance then maybe, just maybe we can be happy together."
Ella's head bowed slightly and she looked back at me glaring. I saw this and looked back at her, "Maybe it's just you who can't accept that." I spoke back. Ella scoffed and looked at me just staring and giving me a stare.
We stared at each other trying to break each other's glare but nothing and no one stopped.
"Your Majesty!" A voice called out and two guards and Henry walked in. I glanced at them awkwardly and Ella froze. "Queen Y/N you're safe!" Henry called out in relief, I smiled in confusion and he glared at Ella. He pointed at her and spoke, "That's her the one who is to be executed." My eyes widened with fear. Ella looked at me and the guards grabbed her. "What do you mean?" I questioned worriedly. Henry smiled slightly and patted me on the shoulder, "Don't worry Your Majesty, this horrible woman and her husband were planning to kill you. But luckily we got here in time." he grinned. The guards pulled Ella away and I walked forward reaching out. Henry blocked me and I glared at him, "What do you mean?" Henry ignored me and the guards dragged Ella away. The last thing I saw of her was the look of fear and her mouthing the words.
'I'm sorry.'
~George's pov~
"Hello Samuel," I grinned. Samuel turned around and looked at me in fear, "G-George?" he stuttered. I grinned slightly and moved towards him. "So I guess you're trying to take my Y/N from me." I glared at him. Samuel scoffed and back up slightly, "Your Y/N? Pfft, George, Y/N isn't yours, she no one's?"
I chuckled slightly and went back to glaring at him, "Enough with the jokes Seabury, you know that what your doing is dangerous but if you join me and help me trick Y/N I let you and Ella live." I spoke. Samuel gave me a scolding look and moved towards me, "No way would I ever help you again, I don't care if I die right now I'm not letting Y/N suffer any more." He argued back. I scoffed again and walked up to the mirror staring at it. "Suffer? You clearly don't know who's been suffering, Seabury." I spat back. Samuel gave me another glare and folded his arms.
"Suffering? Sure, of course. The King who gets whatever he wants has been suffering all this time when he could've gotten another wife like any other King." he sarcastically spoke. I writhed with frustration and turned my head slightly, "You think it's that easy don't you, of course you wouldn't know. I mean know I have 'everything'. But what's the point when the woman who you've always loved, loves someone else even after you've given her all your love and attention."
Samuel gave me another look of confusion and furrowed his brow, "What do you mean George?" he questioned. My eyes turned and I glared at him, "Your the luckiest man on Earth, Samuel." I spoke. I looked at the mirror and saw Samuel's confused face. "She loves you, Samuel. Y/N loves you. Every time I see her with you, I can see a longing in those gorgeous eyes of hers. So what do you feel knowing that you could have Y/N willingly?"
Samuel's face was in shock but then it faltered, he scoffed and he moved towards me, "You know what George I don't care. I don't care that Y/N likes me or hates you. You know why? Because I only care about what she wants!" He yelled. My eyes widened slightly and I turned back around to face Samuel. He walked even closer to me and glared at me, "Y/N had dreams George, she wanted to be an artist who explored and created things. But you being your selfish and idiotic self forced her to love you!" He yelled in frustration. I moved backwards and Samuel's glare deepened. "And now you have the guts to make her feel guilty when all of this is your fault. You keep blaming everyone else for your misfortunes when it's your fault!"
I gave him a look of shock and walked closer to him, a heaviness settled into my heart as I glared into his eyes. "What happened Samuel? Why do you hate me so much? Why now have you decided to hate me?" Samuel scoffed and he moved slightly, shifting his gaze, "I realised something when you sent me to America. I realised how much of a fool you were. And actually, you know what? It's not only that but the way you treat everyone like they are yours. So maybe I was stupid and loyal in the past but I got smarter."
Samuel scoffed and moved even further. I felt betrayed and most importantly lost, this traitor that I once trusted had been corrupted by the pesky rebels just like my darling Y/N. But with Samuel, he wasn't getting any special treatment. A traitor was a traitor. I chuckled slightly and Samuel looked at me confused, "What are laughing at?" he spat.
I grinned and gestured my arms, "Come in!" Samuel looked at me with pure confusion and two guards came from behind me. Samuel's brown eyes widened and he scattered away, but before he could the two guards grabbed his arms. "George, what are you doing?" His brown eyes looked at me in fear and confusion, I smiled and patted his head. "Well, I can't let traitors get away with their crimes." I chuckled. Samuel's expression didn't change and he struggled in the guards' grip, "What do you mean?" he stuttered. I chuckled again and the guards pulled a struggling Ella in. Samuel looked over at Ella with fear and struggled to reach her.
I smiled at the two and chuckled, "Let's just say that tomorrow, your son William, will be an orphan." Samuel and Ella gave me looks of despair and the guards dragged them away, holding in Samuel and Ella's cries. I smiled to myself in relief and pushed my wavy locks out of my face. Maybe I was insane?
But now no one will take my Y/N away from me.
