Hopping off his horse.
"The plan worked.
Ewell's got the sheriff
He'll mess his head
And keep him busy.

The Hutch bellowed loud
William straightened his black hat
Chuck and Tim stood proud
As the Roberts stepped off the boat
Along with some of their crew.
The men shook hands
Exchanging Howdys
It was a new place for them
They'd never been to BG County.

"That's a fine lookin' boat.
The Liberty Belle.
Who owns it?"
Ray Roberts asked.
William shrugged
"A man named Denver
He's out of town.
His son is there
With a skeleton crew."

Over to the Liberty Belle,
William and Roy watched
the boxes marked with C
loaded onto the wagon.
Chuck brought two horses
For the brother's journey.

William asked.
"Not long.
Till noon tomorrow
Or half-past."
The crew got back onboard
As they were instructed.
The Roberts followed William and Chuck
together towards the warehouse,
To complete the deal
Which had been struck.
