His subconscious playing crazy tricks
Card games and races
Train robberies and chases
Cocoa Pops and trips to Oh Aces
Tragic events the death of a friend
Funerals and weddings the dream wouldn't end
Gunfights and danger
News from Destiny even stranger
Explosions and church fires
Sombreros and liars
Railroad gangs and a boxing fight
Chasing Mexican bandits in to the night
Girls rescued from Tent City flats
Witches and an old lady with cats
Poisoned muffins, music and song
Crooked Mayor who didn't last long
New people arriving to farm the land
Entertainers and Drummers oh so grand

Automobiles and gangsters he'd never seen

Music jarred him awake with a sudden start
Old Peso had the player piano apart
CS was polishing glasses and wiping the bar
The nightmare he felt had gone too far
