From the Desk of Bishop Francisco DoRito

To the Honorable Archbishop Hal Apino

My dear friend, I hope this letter finds you well. Has it not been at least six months since we last spoke? I am well, yet I believe I find myself at a crossroads, which brings me to the reason for this correspondence.

I am sure you remember my letter informing you of one of our most recent additions to the Order of the Angels Llorones, Sister Mary Grace, who took her vows before me. She now resides in the small town of Busted Gulch, as she has opened an orphanage and school with the blessing of her Reverend Mother.

Hal, I find myself drawn to this town. I feel the Spirit is leading me to a new purpose there. I have spent many long hours in prayer, and the pull has only become stronger. As such I have come to a difficult decision, but one I believe is ordained. I am officially tendering my resignation as Bishop. The Lord has a new path for me to follow and I am excited to see where it leads me.

I set off in a fortnight for Busted Gulch. You can forward any further correspondence to the post office there. I will write again when I get settled. I humbly as for your blessing and prayers.

Thank you, my friend, for your friendship and guidance, these past fifteen years. You will always be in my prayers.

Your Brother in Christ,

Bishop Francisco DoRito
