I burst into Toby's apartment, I was aware that it four in the morning but I just didn't know what else to do. Toby sat bolt upright in bed looking startled.

"Oh god, I'm sorry I startled you, I'm just freaking out because..." I stopped to take deep breaths, Toby was out of bed and beside me.

"Because.." He prodded.

"Corey and Wes got in a fight. He could get expelled. Why am I telling you this? You probably don't care."

"I only care because you care. But how did you find out at 4am?"

"Indi said she saw the whole thing, including Mr Wentworth losing it." I squeezed my eyes shut trying to make this into a dream.

"Why is it bothering you so much though? You were so strong in the courtyard yesterday."

Tears started welling in my eyes, "I just I sacrificed my sight for him," I spluttered "My brother almost became paralysed from the waist down because of him." I was full on crying now, there was no turning back. Toby's reaction was a mix of astonishment and shock.

"That's heavy, really heavy." He shook his head.

"Now what do I have left? These stupid glasses, without them I'm as good as blind."

"You know that's not true. J listen to me you don't need him to succeed college for your life to work. You can do it without him. I have every confidence in the world in you."

"You sure know how to make someone feel better, even when life just feels shitty."

"You should try and get some sleep." He lead me over to his bed, I climbed in without hesitation. He grabbed a sleeping bag and started rolling it out on the floor.

"Toby?" I said quietly, "Can you come sleep up here with me? It's kind of cold."

"You know it's a single bed right." He asked.

"It'll be cozy." I took my glasses off and put them on the nightstand, and I felt Toby slide in beside me. I rested my head on his bare chest and listened to his heart thud his arm came around under my head and he held my shoulder.

- Corey -
I am so getting kicked out of this place. Mum's going to be so disappointed she always said that Jasmine changed me, helped me move on from dad being a criminal and ditching me when I was five.

But I did this for Jasmine. I didn't deserve her, Toby did. Dylan was right I could never take back what I did, kissing Gemma. I wanted to kill Wes and burn his body. There were no words that I could use to describe how much I hated his guts.

Norington sat behind his desk staring at Wes and I. I wish he would just make up his mind because it stank like old books and Dagwood dogs. Gross. Nothing worse than a frankfort battered and deep fried.

"I don't think you two realise the seriousness of what you've done. Wes this is not your first time either, and your running out of chances." Norington's gaze drifted to me. "What exactly happened? Corey."

"Yeah what happened Corey?" Wes sneered.

"Enough Wes!" Norington yelled before turning back to me.

"He touched my girlfriend against her will and threatened me, so I punched his lights out." I shrugged.

"Is that what happened Wes?" Norington asked.

I looked out the window the sun was out and the team was practising, without me.

"Anderson totally lost it, I didn't touch his girl besides helping her up when she fell over."

"Two completely different story's. Hmm. You're both suspended for three weeks and are to do community service in our college community. You are dismissed."
