LOVE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN

Chapter 6

....I went to keep a few things in my locker.

"You really need to decorate your locker..." I heard Kenzie's voice beside me.

"Yh, I will after school tomorrow," I replied.

"Do you have any plans for this evening?" She asked.

"I was planning on going grocery shopping cause I don't have anything at home." I said

"Do you need me to accompany you?" Kenz asked.

"Oh you are such a sweetheart. Yes please..."

"Great, I will use the opportunity to show you around," Kenz said.

"Hey guys...." another voice came in.

"What's up Tori," I said.

"Tori, would you like to go grocery shopping with Isla and I?" Kenz asked.

"Oh, I would have loved to but I already have other plans," she replied with a long face.

"No problem, see you tomorrow," I said and we hugged.

"Later lovelies...." Tori said and left.

"Uh Kenz, I will text you my house address. Lets exchange numbers." I said and we did.

"See you later," Kenz said and I left. I went to where I parked my car, started it and drove home.

On getting home, I quickly went to to my room, took my bath, and put on a simple flared gown. I also packed my hair in a slightly loose ponytail. I then sat down and did my homework.

I had already texted Kenz my address on my way back. We decided to meet by 4:30pm. I ordered pizza because I was hungry plus my mum used to say that you should never go shopping on an empty stomach.
....It was already 4:20pm when I heard the doorbell. It was either the pizza or Kenz. I opened the door......

"Hey Kenz.....come on in...." I said.

"Wow!! This place is beautiful," she said and I laughed.

"We would soon get going...I'm just waiting for the pizza I ordered," I said.

"Thank goodness cause I'm famished," she said.

"My mum used to say that we should never go shopping on an empty stomach," I told her.

"Where is she?" Kenz asked...

"She's late now...." I replied.

"Oh I'm so sorry," she said apologetically.

"There is no need to be," I said and smiled.
......I heard the doorbell.....

"Pizza's here..." I said excitedly.
I paid for the pizza and we ate. It was already 4:45pm when were were done.

"Should I get my car keys?" I asked her.

"There is no need for that," she replied.

"Perfect....let me quickly get my bag," I said and ran up to my room. I came back in less than a minute.

"Shall we?" Kenz said and we left.

.....This place isn't bad at all. It was truly beautiful. There was a small flower garden in front of almost every house. Kenz and I chatted while walking. Soon, we were standing in front of a huge store.

"Wow! It's really big," I exclaimed.

"Yh it is," Kenz replied and smiled.
We entered inside and I selected everything I needed. I paid for everything and Kenz helped me to carry two bags. We spent about 1hour inside the store.

"Lets get something to drink," I suggested.

"Good idea," Kenz replied.
We bought two cans of soda and sat down on a bench with it.
