LOVE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN

Chapter 18

"Oh emm geee, that was AMAZING!" Tori exclaimed. The KOR concert has just ended and we were heading to our cars.

"Yh, I agree with you." I said.

"I danced, jumped and screamed so much that all I wanna do now is just sleep." Kenz said stifling a yawn.

"I'll take you home." Josh said and wrapped his arm around her and they walked towards Josh's car.

"Tonight was a hell lotta fun don't ya think?" Caleb said.

"I would totally do it again." Jace said.

"Can we just get going....." I whined.

Caleb chuckled. "Get in," he said. I got on the backseat and Jace came in after me. I looked at him wondering why he didn't just sit in front.

He shrugged, "just in case you fall asleep. At least you'll have a shoulder to sleep on."

"You know, it's surprising how you can be kinda insensitive this minute and a sweetheart the next minute." I said and looked at him.

"Well don't get used to it." He replied and I smile. Caleb started driving.

"Hey Isla wake up." I felt someone nudging me lightly. I groaned and sat up. I realized that I had been sleeping in the car.

"We're here already?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Yup." Caleb answered.

I got down from Caleb's car and hugged both of them. "Thanks for tonight and thanks for bringing me home." I said.

"No need to thank us." Jace said and smiled.

"Yh what are friends for?" Caleb added. I smiled at them again before entering inside. I dragged myself into my room. Changed into night shorts and a singlet before I jumped on my warm soft bed.

Kenz's mum, Tracy signed the letter for me. We were all excited for the trip. I am particularly more excited because I have always wanted to go to Malibu.

It's Friday and Kenz, Tori and I were in the parking lot of our school.

"We need to go dress shopping tomorrow cause we won't be here throughout next week and homecoming is just a day after we arrive." Tori declared.

"Yh, you're right but Jake would have to come with us. Mum and dad are going out tomorrow and I have to babysit him." Kenz said. I grinned on hearing about Jake. I haven't seen him in a long time though I've spoken to him twice when I called Kenz and he was with her.

"There is no problem with that. I love Jake's company. We don't necessarily have to wear long dresses for homecoming right, cause I don't think I'm in any mood for that." I said.

"Funny cause I was thinking the same thing," Tori said.

"Yh, I think it will be nice if we look different than usual," Kenz said and I grinned.

I sat on my couch watching greys anatomy while I was waiting for Kenz, Jake and Tori to arrive. The deal was that they come to my house and I drive them to the mall. I wore jeans and a plain black t shirt.

I hear the doorbell and go over to open the door.

"Isla!" Jake squealed and jumped on me. We almost fell over.

I laughed. "How are you Jake?"

He flashed me a toothed grin, "I'm fine," he answered. I noticed that he has lost a tooth.

"Awwn you lost your first tooth," I said and he grinned.

"Hey Kenz," I hugged her and she smiled.
