I managed to get through all my classes. Carl didn't even spare me any look. Did what I said hurt him that much...
This is the first time he is feeling this way_____I heard Caleb's voice in my head.
Ugh.....am I really that terrible. I feel like I'm lying to myself.
After the closing bell, I made excuses to Kenz and Tori and quickly went home.
I wanted Carl to ignore me. Everything is better this way.
You are a coward.
No, I'm not.
You are denying your feelings.
No, I'm not.
I got into my comfy pyjamas even though it was still afternoon and watched Netflix till I eventually slept off.
"Seriously babe. You need to snap out of it." Tori said and glared at me. We were at the cafeteria on Thursday. Carl haven't even spared me a glance ever since the incident but Caleb, Jace and I were okay.
"Snap out what?" I asked.
"You have been acting distant." Kenz said.
"Yh, quit acting like someone that has suffered a devastating heartbreak." Tori scolded.
"Is that really how I have been acting?" I asked them.
"Yes." They both said.
"Jinx."
"Jinx again."
"You owe me a soda." They both laughed and I rolled my eyes. I could never get used to this.
I considered what they said and it was true. I wasn't hanging out with them after school. I always made flimsy excuses. I really needed to snap out of it. "You guys are right. I really need to snap out of it. How about we do something this weekend maybe a sleepover or spa day?"
"Now you're talking." Tori said and high fived me. Kenz grinned.
"Hello ladies." Owen and Josh said.
They were about to do the jinx stuff. "Guys please I know you owe each other a soda or coconut or whatever." They both laughed.
Owen sat beside Tori and kissed her and Josh did the same. To Kenz though not Tori.
"All these PDA is going to make me puke." I said and fake gagged.
They laughed. "You're just jealous." Tori said. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"We have big news," Josh said. Tori, Kenz and I looked at each other. "Good news or bad news?" Kenz asked.
"We have both good news and bad news. Depends on which you wanna hear first." Owen replied.
I wonder what the bad news can be. "Tell us the bad news first," I said.
"Ok." Josh replies. "The truth is that there isn't any bad news."
Kenz slapped his arm and he laughed. "So what's the good news?"
"Feast your eyes on these babies..." Owen said and brought out five tickets.
"What are those?" I asked.
"OMG. Shut up," Tori exclaimed excitedly and snatched the tickets from Owens's hands. "These are tickets to the KOR concert tomorrow."
"For real?" Kenz and I squealed.
"Yup," Josh replied.
"But how did you get it? These tickets has been sold out for a months." I said.
