LOVE DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN

Chapter 15

"I can't believe what you just did." Owen gaped. Josh was still laughing.

"You guys are crazy you know that?" I asked. "But I gotta admit that was brilliant. Did you see her face. It serves her right for what she did to me."

"Hey come lets go rub it in her face." Tori said while grinning .

"Uh there is no need for that. Let's just enjoy the party. Let's dance." Kenz said.

"Let's get this party officially started. Wo-hoo." Josh yelled. We went to the middle of the dance floor and started dancing. Josh was trying some crazy dance moves. I laughed so hard.

"Okay everyone. Let's clear the dance floor. It's time for our couples slow dance." The DJ announced. We stood by the side. Owen and Tori were dancing while Kenz, Josh and I were still together.

"Hey, would you dance with me?" Josh asked Kenz. She smiled and nodded. The crowd was parting and I saw Carl walking towards me. The wore dark jeans and a white shirt. The hands of his shirt were folded but he still managed to pull it off. Seriously, it should be illegal to look that hot. He was just smiling at me but I could feel butterflies fluttering in the pit of my stomach.

Hey get a grip on yourself

I blinked multiple times and comported myself then smiled back at him.

"Hey."

"Wow, you look great," he said.

"Thanks. Are you just coming?" I asked.

"Yh but I saw Maddie leaving and both  Jace and Caleb came with dates. So would you like to dance?"

Glad I'm your second choice...I rolled my eyes

"Of course" I replied.

"Where did you learn how to dance?" He asked.

"Well my mum used to make me take dance lessons. Guess it finally paid off. Plus this isn't really a dance. Its just a _move back_move front_ kinda thing." I answered and he grinned.

"But seriously, you are looking hot." I rolled my eyes. I felt a blush creeping on my face.

"Aww you're blushing." He said.

"Shut up." I said and he laughed.

"But seriously, I didn't think you could blush. You always carry one air of confidence around you. The kind of....I don't give a damn about what guys think about me cause I already know that I'm sexy as fuck." He said.

"You can't really be serious. I didn't realize that."

"Well believe it," he said as the slow song ended and everyone started leaving the dance floor. Normal dancing continued.

"Well you two were getting cozy." Tori said and winked at me.

Carl's phone rang he furrowed his brows. "I'll be right back guys."

I wonder who called that made him frown. "Hey guys its getting hot." I said.

"Yh, lets go swim." Tori squealed. We were already wearing our bikinis under our dress.

"Last to get into the pool is a rotten egg..." Kenz yelled and they jumped into the pool. I sat by the side but my legs were in the pool and the water reached my knees.

"Cannon ball." A guy shouted and jumped in the pool. I recognized him from my Chemistry class. I think his name is Joyner. Many people joined in after him. Everyone was having fun. Kenz, Josh, Owen and Tori were having a chicken fight. I laughed along with them. I wish I took those swimming lessons years back then I would be in the pool with them instead of just sitting around and grinning. I was having fun though until someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around smiling thinking it was Carl but my smile turned into a frown when I saw the person. Maddie was scowling at me. She had changed out of her stained clothes and now wore a black romper with roses.
