"Oh it's just you," he muttered looking at the pizza bagel guy.
"Yeah, I live here. Of course, it's me. The walls are thin, try being quieter." he waved then left, After that got up and sat down on the sofa.
"I guess if I really do have a day... maybe, maybe they'll decide on something else. He concluded petting Alo. "or maybe you're immortal, that's why you never seem to be able to die." he smiled, knowing that a dragon was never truly immortal, they could live on after their human died but would eventually find another, or get injured and die.
---------------------It felt weird walking up to Rubin's desk the next day. 'Why are you doing this?' he asked himself. Though Rubin said nothing just took Alo, he bit his lip awkwardly chewing it. 'They're not even gonna tell me.' he bit down harder. 'Alo...'
He stared at his shoes till it felt something snapped inside of him. Folding his arms around his legs he sat down on the floor gasping for breath. He heard someone rushing forward, "close your eyes."
Hitoshe struggled to close, but now he had realized he'd been crying. Even now he felt jittery as if he could barely stay still. Idio's voice filled his head but he could barely make out anything besides someone else say, "I didn't think there would be any backlash!"
