Last night's movie date was a breath of fresh air.
After my break up with Matteo, this is the first time I enjoyed the company of other people besides Mitch.
It was the best feeling. I feel myself getting better everyday. My decision to move out proves to be a great idea so far.
I am not completely taking my walls down, but I was slowly opening up myself to people again.
Mari and Andie didn't make it hard for me too. They both genuinely have a kind heart and are easy to talk to. I feel like I can be myself around them.
I just finished cooking bacon and eggs when my cellphone pinged, signaling a new text message.
It was Mari. I smiled when I saw his name on the screen.
"Good morning, Eli. :D" The smiley on his message made me chuckle. I imagined his wide smile.
"Good morning to you too." I hit send and proceeded to my breakfast nook.
After a few minutes, my cellphone rang. Mari is calling. I answered after a few rings.
"Hey...good morning. What are you doing today?" He greeted me with what I think is his morning voice. Did he just woke up?
"I didn't know I need to report my activities to you, doctor." I teased.
He chuckled. "Are you usually this feisty in the morning?" I know he's still in bed. I heard the sound of pillows and bedsheets when he shift his position. "Besides, I did tell you I would call every hour right?"
"If you keep this up, I might change my number." I teased him again. Clearly having fun with our conversation. "So, why did you call?"
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to say that Andie and I had fun last night with you and Mitch. I didn't have the time to call you last night because I brought Andie home. Mama also insisted I stay the night." He yawned.
"Well, you don't need to explain, and we had fun too. Mitch kept talking about Andie, I almost got jealous." I laughed remembering her endless blabber on our way back here. "So, is that all? I'm kinda in the middle of eating my breakfast, and I suggest you get your lazy ass up and eat too." I said.
He got up laughing. "Alright, alright. I'ma go down and eat. But, hey..." There was a moment of silence. "I was thinking...Maybe we can do it again sometime?" Even if I can't see him, I know he has his puppy eyes and pout on.
"Can't get enough of us already?" I chuckled. "I'll think about it, ok?"
I still don't know what this is. I know he's just being friendly, but just in case, I don't want him to think that I'm easy.
"Well, ayt. That's good enough for me. See you soon." He said then we both ended the call.
Well that was interesting. I ate the rest of my breakfast while thinking of our little conversation.
...
After breakfast, I took a quick shower and decided to hit the gym. I figured I should plan my routine now so I won't get out of shape when classes starts.
The gym was fully equipped. I like the fact that there are only a few people when I got there.
I decided to just use the treadmill today. I'm working on losing my belly fats.
Mitch would think it's ridiculous because according to her I look good, and I'm just being hard on myself. But if I want to get more modeling gigs, I should be fit.
I mean, I love my body especially my curves but I just find those skinny victoria's secret models beautiful. Maybe I can't take out my huge hips and ample breasts, but I can work on my abs.
