I felt a pair of hands on my back. It was Jack comforting me and holding my hair out of my face. He gave me a kiss on the head before going back to the kitchen. 'Hetty do you think you should take the day off and inform Mr Callander?' Gid asked me. 'No ill be fine' I said smiling at him as I got off to go and take Miss Constance her dress.
'Hello Hetty, you don't look good are you feeling okay?' She asked me
'I'm okay. I just feel abit sick but I'm sure it will pass' I said to her as I left the room to clean the fires.
By lunch, I was feeling better and I didn't feel sick any more. I wolfed down my lunch leaving Jack in surprise 'I feel fine now' I said with a full mouth.
The following day I woke up having to run off to the privy to be sick again. This was reallt weird. Yet again by lunch I felt fine. This happened all week. What was going on?
