We sat down with mr Callender and told him the news. 'That's great news.' He said smiling. 'don't worry about anything. You and your baby will be fine. They can be looked after with Lily in the nursery while you work and they will live in the cottage with you. Hetty you will be put onto light duties until you are close to birth then you won't work until 3 weeks after the birth so you can recover.' Mr Callander said fondly. As we both cried at his kindness.' you are so kind sir' I said through tears. 'it's great so see young love and to see that you can make great lives for yourselves after having such awful starts in life' he said to us smiling and we thanked him again and went down to the kitchen to tell everyone.
