When we had finished at the beach, Hetty and I said goodbye to the Greenwoods and headed to find a room to stay in. We had planned to meet up with the Greenwoods to go to the curiosities later that night before we would be going home tomorrow. Mr Callander had given us the week but I couldn't bare to stay the full week. After finding a place to stay, and leaving our stuff we went down to Ida's grave. I felt so overcome with grief. We sat down at her grave and I wept. Jack held me in his arms and stroked my hair until I calmed down. Once I had calmed down, I started speaking. 'I miss you Ida. I hope I'm making you proud. Anyway, I got married' I laughed. 'I bet that leaves you surprised. Me married. But I'm so happy Ida. I love Jack and he really looks after me. And Mr Callander gave us time off to come and see you' I said before starting to cry again realising that this was all I would ever see of Ida again. We stayed there for ages and then we headed back to the room. I knew that I loved Jack, but it wasn't until today that I realised just how much. Everything about him just filled me with passion.
