Liam's P.O.V
She stood at the end of a dark hall, a light against the darkness. Her blond hair glowed faintly as she looked around, then her eyes landed on me. I smiled and started forwards but then something passed through me. Not something, but someone.

"Hey." He said, wrapping his arms around Ruby's waist.

She giggled, "hi." She said flirtatiously.

I frowned at them and watched as they held each other in their arms. The boy had light brown hair and freckles dotted his face, his silver eyes scanned her and he bit his bottom lip.

"Why don't we find a room in this place?" He murmured to her and she nodded.

They found a room and I slipped in with them.

"Ruby?" I said, my voice echoing weirdly in the darkroom.

She ignored me and instead reached up and grabbed the other boy by the hair, pulled his face down and pressed her lips to his.
My heart shattered like glass inside of me as I watched my mate kids another boy.

"Ruby?" I said, louder this time, "Ruby!?"

She continued to make out with the boy. I sank to my knees, helpless, and closed my eyes as my chest filled with pain.

"Liam?" A voice echoed in my head and my eyes snapped open.

Ruby was still attached to the other boy so I thought that I was just imagining it.

"Liam? Wake up." Her voice echoed again, "Lee, please... Wake up!"

I jolted awake so suddenly that I toppled off the bed. My head banged against something hard and I cursed. My vision went white for a split second and it took me a few minutes to realize where I was.

"Lee?" Her panicked voice said, "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

I looked around for her and let my eyes adjust to the darkness. She was sitting up on the bed, her brow creases in concern. I let out a sigh of relief, stumbled to my feet and hugged her tightly.
She wrapped her thin arms around my waist and buried her face in my chest.
"Did you have a nightmare?" She asked in a soft voice.

I nodded, "Yeah, yeah I did."

She squeezed me tighter and then pulled away to look at me. Her sapphire eyes were bright with confusion as I stood and then sat on the bed beside her. I pulled her into a tight embrace and inhaled her scent, lavender, and forest. My favorite scent, it hadn't changed at all in five years. Her thin arms slipped around my waist and squeezed me tightly.

"What was it about?" she asked quietly, "Other wolves?"

I frowned, "Why would you think that?" I peered down at my mate who still clung to me like a lifeline.

She shrugged, "You were growling and moaning, sounded like you were in a fight or something,"

I laid back down on the bed and pulled her with me so she was resting on my chest. I could feel her shoulders rise and fall with every breath, every precious breath.

"We were in some weird, creepy house," I started, my voice sounding husky to my ears, "You looked so lost, then you turned and looked at me and smiled... but then someone walked straight through me like I was nothing but a cobweb being brushed aside. The boy was around my age, another wolf, and I was standing right there, then he kissed you..."

I felt her tense, "You know I would never so that, right?"

I nodded, "I know, but it seemed so real, and you looked so happy. I tried to get you to see me but you just kept going, it felt like my heart shattered."
