"You will have one month vacation" sabay abot niya sa akin ng papers ko
"I don't need that, Handro" mapakla kong saad at itinuon na ulit ang ginagawa sa computer ko
"Should I call you love to talk to me" bulong niya sa akin kaya napatingin ako
"Engineer Victorio" maawtoridad kong saad
"Sabi ko nga, di ako mananalo" napapailing niyang saad at iniwan na lang ang envelope sa lamesa ko.
I'm still working with other designs that my clients wanted. They still gave me small projects but the power plants incident is still under observation. It's been a month since it happened but for me, it's still fresh.
Everytime I saw my team going to the site, naiinggit ako. Ako kasi yung dapat na nandun but still thankful kasi si Handro ang humawak ng project.
"Did you think about it?" baling niya na naman sa akin
"Engineer Victorio, can you stop?" iritado kong saad
"Sorry sweety but I won't" sabay kinindatan pa ako
"How can I stop you?" panghahamon ko sa kanya
"Getting this one month vacation"
"No"
"Yes"
"Handro, please!!" iritado ko na talagang saad sa kanya
"Take it or I leave you?" panghahamon niya
"Pota" naiiling na bulalas ko
"You're cute when you're cursing" natatawa niyang saad
"Natuwa ka pa talaga" at inirapan ko siya
"I'm just kidding.. I just want you to take this vacation"
"I'll take that vacation but you will come with me"
"No"
"Then I won't take that"
"Okay, fine. Hindi talaga ako mananalo"
"I love you" bigla kong saad kaya natigilan na naman siya
"Did you just said..." hindi makapaniwalang saad niya
"You heard it right but I don't repeat it. Go back to your work. I'll just pass this and file that vacation of ours" sagot ko at tinalikuran na siya.
Nakangiti naman ako habang naglalakad papunta ng HR para ipasa ang files ko. I don't have plans going back to the Philippines but Handro is too annoying so I need this vacation to face my family again.
Ayokong magkita sila ni Miguel kasi for sure malaking gulo. I love him and I loved Miguel, magkaiba yun. I saw how my cousin's friend, Neil sacrifice for his brother and it's painful. Hindi ko kayang may isang magsakripisyo para sa akin nang dahil sa pagmamahal.
"I heard you filled a one month vacation" bungad ni Ky ng nasa pantry kami
"Handro is irresistible"
"Well, he's Handro for nothing" natatawang saad ni Ky
"You want to come?" I asked her that made shocked her.
"Wait, do you have any idea where do you spend your vacation?"
"Yah, I'm going back to the Philippines to visit my family and stay for a little longer" sagot ko naman habang nagsasalin ng kape sa tumbler ko
"I'll come with you" masayang saad ni Ky at bumalik na kami sa trabaho
Tinapos ko na lahat ng design na kailangan ko. Iilan na lang din naman yun because I'm starting again to gain some trust to handle projects. I'm still thankful that they didn't fired me.
