Chapter 27

Nasa may balkonahe ako ngayon ng palasyo gusto ko lang kasi na mapag-isa.

Gulong-gulo pa rin ang isip ko hindi ko alam kung makakaya ko bang mag pretend na hindi ako nakokonsensya sa pag-iwan ko kay Noah.

I am his mother at alam ko nararamdaman ko na hinahanap niya ako.

I turned on my phone at napapikit ako ng makita ko sa screen yung mukha ni Cohen at Noah. Hindi ko maiwasan na tumulo yung luha ko dahil sa sobrang sakit na nararamdaman ko.

I want to call and text them but I can't, bago ako sumakay sa eroplano ay tinanggal ko yung sim card ko saka itinapon ko ito kasi akala ko makakatulong sa akin upang madali akong maka recover pero hindi pala.

When I heard a footsteps ay agad kong pinatay yung phone ko saka ibinulsa ko ito, dali dali ko ring pinunasan yung luha ko.

"We're so sorry your highness, we didn't know that you're here." napalingon ako sa nagsalita, it was Kalem and his companion. Kalem, he was my childhood friend but right now he is the head of the Scotland's army.

"No, it's ok. I'm about to take my leave." sabi ko naman saka sabay sila na nag bow sa harap ko, tumango lang ako saka dumaan ako sa harap nila para makababa ng hagdan.

Napansin kong napatitig si Kalem sa akin kaya nilingon ko ito ulit.

"It was nice to see you wearing your dream uniform. " sabi ko kay Kalem kaya napangiti ito

"Thank you, your highness." magalang naman nitong sabi kaya tumango lang ako.

Noong bata pa kasi kami ay dito tumira yung pamilya nila Kalem sa palasyo. Kalem's father was my father King James trusted man. They have this bond together that no one can break it kaya lang Kalem's father died protecting the King kaya malaki ang utang na loob namin sa pamilya nila.

But since Kalem's father died, King James changed a lot, sinisi niya yung sarili niya kung bakit namatay yung kaibigan niya and it all started everything.

He gambled, spreading words without thinking, he lost himself , he has a lot of debt to pay from the King Vladimir of Portugal but that time King James couldn't pay his debt to King Vladimir that's why the King of Portugal stated a war , he wants blood to blood.

Our castle attacked by the Portuguesse at dawn and we are not ready at that time.

My mom, my sister and me, father hid us in the secret passage of the castle while he joined the armies to fight.

But we thought that he could survive in the battle but he didn't and that was the painful thing that I've experienced in my whole life.
Knowing my father died protecting us and I couldn't do anything at that time but I promise to him that I will protect Scotland and I wouldn't make them suffer again .
And I will do everything for the sake of my country.

The night came Queen Meridith visit me in my chamber, sinusuklay ko yung buhok ko sa harap ng salamin.

"Let me.." sabi naman ni Mommy saka inagaw niya sa akin yung brush ko at siya yung nagsusuklay sa buhok ko.

She always do this noong nabubuhay pa si Daddy but natigil ito noong naging Queen Regent siya ng Scotland. She is so busy negotiating for the sake of our country.

My mom is a strong woman, nakabangon kami, nakabangon yung bansa namin ng dahil sa kanya at sa mga nobles.

And I adore her for that..

"It's been so long since I did this. ZoeyElle since you arrived, I can sense that you're not ok, is there something happened in Philippines ? " seryosong tanong ni Mommy sa akin.

Nakagat ko yung labi ko saka pumikit ako.

"A lot Mom .." sagot ko naman sabay dilat ng mata ko

"Like ? " ani pa ni Mommy

"Like living a normal life, I can do whatever I want, I studied there and I graduated too. I gain lots of friends and a family welcomed me in their home but Mom, I feel like I don't deserved them because I lied to them and it hurts me so much. I miss them Mom and if God given me a chance to explain to them who really am and say sorry. " iyak na sabi ko kay Mommy gusto ko sana na sabihin sa kanya yung tungkol kay Noah kaya lang alam kong kakasuklaman niya ako. At natatakot ako na baka hindi niya matanggap si Noah bilang apo niya.

"You will and you must. Why don't you invite them to your coronation and I would love to meet them all." nakangiti namang sabi ni Mommy kaya nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kanya

"Really Mom ? Is it ok ? " hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala

"Yes, ofcourse. I will let our men ready the plane and ofcourse first you must send them invitation card so that they will not shocked if our men fetch them. " sagot naman ni Mommy kaya napangiti ako at napayakap sa kaniya .

"Thank you Mom, thank you so much.." masiglang sabi ko kay Mommy sabay yakap ng mahigpit.

"Oh ZoeyElle, you don't know how much I miss you and longing for your hugs .." sabi naman ni Mommy kaya yumakap ako ng mahigpit sa kanya.

"Your grace, it's time for you to go in the throne room." huminga ako ng malalim ng marinig ko ang sinabi ni Lili, one of my lady servant.

Tinignan ko muna ang suot ko na gown sa harap ng napakalaking salamin.

Wala namang iba pang nagbago maliban nalang sa beywang at boobs ko na medyo lumaki pagkatapos kong isilang si Noah through C-Section.

Hindi naman ako nagtagal kaya bumaba na rin ako patungo sa ball room kung saan may hinandang welcome back party para sa akin si Queen Meridith of Scotland.

When King Edward saw me ay agad niya akong nilapitan kaya nag bow ako sa harap niya bilang respeto kasi mas mataas na siya sa akin, kinuha niya yung kamay ko at dinala ito sa labi niya para halikan saka inilagay niya ito sa may braso niya saka kami naglakad patungo sa harap kung saan yung pamilya ko at pamilya niya.

Ipinakilala kami ulit sa announcer kaya kahit wala ako sa mood na ngumiti ay pinilit ko pa rin para hindi mapahiya yung pamilya ko.
