ANDREA'S POV
“Mr. Martinez” sabi ko dahilan para magising siya
“Fuck” he cussed while massaging his temple.
“I didn't call you, what are you doing here?”
Lihim akong napa-irap dahil sa sinabi nito. Masungit parin pala ito kahit na may lagnat. Napansin kong may lagnat parin siya kanina sa restaurant kaya bumili ako ng gamot para sa kanya
“I brought you some medicine”
“Again? I'm fine”
“No, you're not” sabi ko at kinapa ang noo niya “You still have a fever, should I bring you to the hospital instead?”
“Fine, I'll drink the medicine” agad na tugon nito at kinuha ang gamot mula sa akin “You can leave now”
“Okay” aalis na sana ako pero muli itong nagsalita
“Do you like watching movies?”
ANDREA'S POV
“Do you like watching movies?”
“Yes po” tanong ko “Bakit po sir?”
“Do you want to go watch movies with me this Friday?"
“I'm sorry sir, benile and I already have a plan for that day.”
“You're not spending the night together, right?"
“What do you mean, sir?”
“Listen” tumingin siya sa akin “He's a playboy so be careful with him”
“Hindi naman po siguro, he's nice and gentleman as well” Hindi niya ako sinusungitan
“I know you're just doing this because I said so” tumayo ito at lumapit sa akin “I can tell him to stay away from you”
I don't see why he's concerned about this trivial matter. Benile is a nice person, and I don't see anything wrong with him.
Umiling ako “No, you don't need to do that sir”
“You really are testing my patience, andrea” sabi niya habang hinihilot parin ang sintido niya “Then do what you want, but don't say I didn't warn you”
Maybe he's just concerned about me because I'm one of his employees and he doesn't want me to get hurt, right?
“But…” I paused “We can go watch movies together this weekend, sir”
Mahina itong tumawa at bumalik sa upuan niya “Are you sure? You're not afraid of me?”
“Ye-yes”
Just thinking about him and me watching movies together makes my knees tremble for some unknown reason. I just noticed that he's been nice to me lately. He's not planning to salvage me, is he?
“Don't forget it then” he replied “This sunday, 8:00 pm at my house. I'll wait for you”
“Okay po” sagot ko “It's already 7 pm sir, alis na po ako” sabi ko at lumabas ng office niya
I wonder what movie he likes to watch. He doesn't seem to be the type of guy who's fond of watching movies.
“Andrea” nagulat ako nang biglang sumulpot si kim sa harapan ko
"Are you ready to go to the club tonight?" naka-ngising tanong niya
"I totally forgot about it, pwede bang next time nalang ako sasama?"
Umiling ito "Hindi pwede, maraming beses mo na kaming inayawan"
Bumuntong hininga ako "Sige na nga"
“Yes!" She exclaimed and gave me a paper bag “Wear this, this will suit you very well”
“Do I really need to wear this?” Knowing kim, alam kong bibigyan na naman niya ako ng damit na kita ang buong kaluluwa ko
Tumango ito “Magbibihis narin ako, I'll wait for you at the lobby, okay?” sabi niya at umalis
“Okay”
Wala na masyadong tao sa mga oras na ito kaya pwede kaming magbihis dito. Dinala ko ang paper bag at pumasok sa comfort room
“I knew it” sabi ko nang makita ang damit na binigay sa akin ni kim
It's a satin bodycon dress. Both have slits on the side and it's a backless dress. It has a cowl neckline at hanggang hita lang din ang haba nito.
Wala akong nagawa kundi isuot ito. My back and my legs are exposed. This is not good. Kunting galaw ko lang ay makikita na ang undergarments ko.
Inayos ko ang buhok ko at lumabas na ng comfort room. Dumiretso ako sa mesa ko at inayos ang lahat ng gamit ko
“Where are you going?”
Napahinto ako sa ginagawa ko nang marinig ang boses ni Mr. Martinez
“We're going to the club tonight, sir”
Napa-iwas ako ng tingin nang mapansin kong naka-titig siya sa damit ko. I know I look ridiculous in this dress, hindi niya na kailangang ipahalata sa akin
“Saang club?”
Why is he curious? Gusto niya bang sumama sa amin?
“Sa club galaxy po” sagot ko
He frowned “Sino ang mga kasama mo?”
“Si kim po at mga ka officemate po namin”
“There are a lot of boys there, and you're just going to rely on that piece of cloth? What if it rips?”
“Kim will definitely protect me” I replied
“Nonsense”
Hinubad niya ang coat niya at ibinato ito sa akin “Your nipples are visible, cover yourself”
“Hindi na po kailangan, manghihiram nalang po ako kay kim”
He glared at me “Don't be stubborn, andrea”
“Okay sir, ibabalik ko po ito agad sa inyo” agad na sagot ko
All his belongings are expensive, so I'll protect them with my life. Alam kong hindi kakasya ang isang taong sweldo ko kapag nasira ko ang coat na ito.
“No need, I have plenty of those” sabi niya at umalis
Tinapos ko na ang ginagawa ko at pumunta ng lobby kung saan naghihintay si kim at mga kasama niya
"Bakit ba ang tagal mo, anding? Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay" bungad sa akin ni kim
"Sorry, hinanap ko kasi yung wallet ko"
“Whose coat are you wearing?” tanong niya habang papalabas na kami
“Oh” hindi nila pwedeng malaman na galing ito kay Mr. Martinez, baka ay iba ang isipan nila “Someone lent this to me”
“What? May boyfriend ka ba dito na hindi namin nalalaman?”
“Wala ah”
