Cross instantly got up. Seeing that it was a pure white room. But he didn't wait to hang around. He instantly got up and ran through one off the doors seeing Killer talking to the Captain of the Royal Guard.
"Killer!" Cross called. "I need to tell you something." He added, stumbling a little but as he hung onto the walls.
Killer turned to look at Cross, quickly walking other. "Cross you should be resting!" He scolded.
"No, I'm fine honest." Cross dismissed, seeing as though the bandages had a faint golden tint to it. Looking at the small golden bubbled sphere that was on the palm of his hand. "I don't feel the pain in my wrist anymore."
"Well that is good. But you still need to rest-" Killer was interrupted by Cross grabbing his arm and walking other to where Nightmare's office lay. "Cross what is wrong?" Cross swung the door open.
"Nightmare I need to tell you something." Cross stated quickly, seeing as though Nightmare looked up after writing the list of people who would go with them. Cross wasn't on that list.
"What?" Nightmare asked having a slight hiss in the tone of his voice.
Cross soon approached the desk, taking a mear glance at the sheet. "The Evil Queen has created her own army, out of Dream's magic. We need to be careful about this situation, as he says he doesn't know how strong they are or what they're capable off." Cross explained eyeing his sword that was on the corner and placing it back in the hem of his belt.
"How do you know this?" Nightmare further questioned.
"A dream." Cross replied. "A dream, where Dream could talk with me and I him. He told me this. And I told him that I would come and get him soon."
Nightmare's brow furrowed. "An army made of his magic." He repeated to himself. "We never knew how powerful it could truly be, only that it brought out people's hopes and dreams with minimal effort." Nightmare muttered.
"And the Evil Queen wanted an army that couldn't be defeated..." Killer added. "Oh we are in massive trouble."
"Oh what are we gonna do?!" Nightmare exclaimed yanking at his head. "I can't do this Kills!" He screamed.
"Hey, hey!" Killer ran other to Nightmare. "Calm down! You can do this! You're Nightmare, the soon to be King of this lavish kingdom! You're brother is in trouble and I've seen your big brother instincts kick in when they need to." Killer hugged Nightmare tightly.
Killer glanced other at Cross and nodded his head other to the door. Cross got the message and exited the room. Soon marching down one of the many hallways, seeing the Captain of the Royal Guard smirking towards him. Cross absolutely hated that smirk. It was like he knew what was going on and found it amusing.
"Good evening Cross, nice to see you're healing well." The Captain commented as Cross walked by.
"Why do you look so amused?" Cross questioned. "Do you find this amusing? Cause frankly no one else is."
The Captain chuckled. "How would you find it that, I am finding it extremely amusing." The Captain leaned other to look directly at Cross in the eyes. "I mean. You go on one adventure with the Prince and what happens? He gets kidnapped. If he had just stayed here the same thing would of happened, but, well you wouldn't have injuries would you."
Cross drew his sword and threw it into the Captains arm, the Captain let out an agonizing scream. "You were the traitor!" Cross yelled. "Hah! They trusted you!" A few of the servants now saw this from far away.
The Captain cackled, seeing as though what came from the now freshly cut wound wasn't normal blood. It was all purple. Not a liquid. A gas. As the Captain of the Royal guard soon began fading away.
