"Son?!" Dream exclaimed quickly moving away from the Evil Queen's hands. "But, I'm not your kid. I'm my mother's child. You know your sister." Dream went on quite quickly, seeming unsure of what to do now.
The Evil Queen glared down at him. "I do indeed know my sister." She answered. "But. The real question is do you know your farther." She had turned around, her cape twirling around her.
Dream raised a brow. "My dad? No I don't know him, since he went to war for my Mother." Dream answered. "But he was a good person." He added knowing that the silence was just inviting him to add something.
"Of course he was." She agreed. "That's why me and my sister were fighting for his love. Who he would be with."
"I don't need to know this." Dream stated simply. "I already know where this is going. You lost and decided to take vengeance on my Mother, especially when Nightmare was born, but that failed since let's admit you saw him in you. But I was born and it was easier to curse me."
The Evil Queen was surprised at this. She wasn't totally prepared for this, for the reasons behind the curse that was placed on her youngest nephew and not on the oldest.
"I didn't expect you to pick up on that so quickly. So I might as well skip to the good part then." Suddenly though she snapped her fingers and claw like tree hands, grabbed hold off Dream. "I assume, that by now your family has figured out that I have gotten a hold off you. Therefore, war is approaching between me and my sister."
The Queen moved towards Dream. "And you, my dear, are going to help me." She smiled now cruelly. "It is funny how much, you matter to your kingdom. So don't worry. This'll be extremely fun for me when I take other your own kingdom and expand my reach!" She began getting a manic gleam in her eyes.
"Good luck with that." Dream mused. "You don't have an army to go against ours." He smiled a little, even though on the inside he was terrified. He didn't want people who had been part of his kingdom for so long to go to war because of him. But maybe if he scared her... just a little... she might back out and let him go home.
She still only laughed a little more. "Oh. I know I don't have an army. But..." She moved his tuff of hair that his gemstone. "This little trinket makes people's dreams come true." She tapped on it, causing a immense amount of pain to flow through Dream.
In fact the pain was so much he screamed from just the lightest touch from the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen leaned closer to peer inside of the gem. A purple fog was beginning to form inside of the golden gem.
"Perfect." The Evil Queen hummed seeing as though a silhouette of a solider appeared next to her. But instead of the usual white silhouette with the golden glow. It was the opposite. A dark grey silhouette instead appeared with a silver glow. Their eyes were like Killer's, empty black with the tears that fell down their face.
Dream looked in horror about what had happened, shaking in fear at the solider. As before he knew another one appeared and drained more off his energy. More and more began appearing. Filling up the large throne room as the Evil Queen cackled.
"Now. Looks who's got an army." The Evil Queen smirked, petting Dream's head as he was struggling to breathe. "You better not die. I still need you." She hissed in his face. Waving a hand in front of his face, forcing him to past out once again.
Sighing in relief she picked him up and began walking away. Moving her throne to the side, revealing a secret door. Heading inside the room, it was small. Grey. A window with bars on it, looking out at the beautiful blue sky. Just a little taunt to the small Prince, as freedom was just there. Just out of his reach.
