Part two chapter fifteen

We took our seats in the main front and waited for the actors to show up. I was watching the people all settle down when someone taped me on the shoulder I looked over and saw Benjamin pointing somewhere in the crowd.
"What?"
"That's Queen Elizabeth's lady's."
"What!"
I jumped up in my seat to look but was pulled back down by my huge dress.
"Calm down Ella you'll get to see her."
He laughed as I fixed my dress and looked over to wear William was he was walking toward us with a huge grin on his face.
"Good evening lord Benjamin and lady Ella."
"Good evening."
he bowed and kissed my hand.
"Ready for a show?"
"Of course we are gitty with excitement."
He smiled and left.
"Gitty?"
"What! It's a word isn't it?"
I laughed.
"I don't think so but I suppose we can make up any words we want since we are rich."
"I've always found it disturbing that the rich has so much power over the poor even in our time it's true."
"Yes but that's the way it is the strong survive."
he shook his head.
"But it isn't right."
I smiled as the crowd hushed and the first actor came onto the stage it was the first ever show of Romeo and Juliet. Two hours later the show was over and everyone was leaving after the queen of course. William walked over toward us.
"So what did you think?"
"It was lovely and so tragic."
"Yes but that's what makes it a love story."
"I couldn't agree more."
Benjamin wasn't saying anything just watching me.
"Lord Benjamin what did you think?"
"I think it's a great play."
I nudged him.
"I also believe that it will be a tremendous hit."
William smiled.
"I hope so, but I must admit that I do not write for the money but for the enjoyment of writing its self."
"Of course that's one of the reasons writers write. It's an escape from the cruelty of the world."
"Perhaps what's another reason lady Ella?"
"They can bring joy to the world and to people."
"Yes if only everyone could read then I would say I agreed."
"Say everyone could read then what? Would you continue to write?"
"Of course perhaps I would write more often and write about more things." Benjamin nudged me and I knew he wanted to leave.
"Well sir William it was delightful speaking with you agin but it's time for me to leave."
He bowed and kissed my hand.
"We will have to finish this conversation later lady Ella as I am most intrigued."
"Of course."
We walked out of the theater and back into our hotel.
"He needs to learn boundaries."
"He was just being polite."
"I still don't like him."
"Benjamin he's married."
"And?"
"And it means he won't bother me."
"That's not certain."
"What are you worried I'll fall in love with him and he'll sweep me off my feet?"
He didn't say anything and just tugged at his sleeve.
"Benjamin......are you."
"Don't be an idiot your mine."
"No I'm not."
He stepped closer to me.
"Yes you are Ella."
"No I'm my own person."
He grabbed my waist.
"Tell me that you don't like this."
He pulled my up against his chest.
"Tell me you don't enjoy feeling my heart beat in sync with yours."
He brought his lips close to my ear.
"Tell me you don't get cold chills when I lean on close."
he kissed my neck.
"Tell me pleasure doesn't shoot through your body as my lips touch you."
"It's doesn't matter what I feel I'm still not yours."
"Yes you are your body you heart your soul is mine and was made just for me."
"Then you where made for me."
"Yes."
"You can't own me and me own you."
"Your explanation is confusing."
"I'm a very confusing person."
He moved to where his face was level with mine. today his eyes where a deep brown and they captivated me.
"Can I kiss you? He whispered"
I didn't say anything just looked at his lips. he took that as a yes and gently leaned in kissed me. he pulled back and smiled then his features darkened. and he pulled away.
"We can't be like this."
"Why?"
"You know why."
"Let's forget about that! We have a month to be together let's enjoy it."
"Why enjoy that feeling when you know it won't last and when it does end you'll have to set and feel so empty."
I put my hand on his face.
"Don't think about that just think about us right now........I don't think I would be able to stand it if I never got to know what it was like to be with the one person in the whole universe who was made just for me."
"How will you feel when I'm torn from you?"
"I don't know but I know that I want to be with you right now."
I stepped closer to him.
"Stop Ella."
"No."
"Damn you!"
His wings burst out of his back. and his eyes went red.
"Are you suppose to be scary?"
I smiled as my dragon wings escaped.
