Chapter 15

Eric watched as Saphire quietly slept, curled up in his arms into a tiny ball as if to gather any source of warmth and protection available. "How adorable.." He mumbled, smiling as he gently picked up a piece of her long, dark hair, kissing the tip softly while a grin adorned his face.

Slightly twitching at his actions, Saphire opened her dark eyes and immediately widened when she saw Eric's own eyes widen in surprise. In shock of another person being in her private bed, Saphire let out a loud screech before kicking Eric down the bed, making him slam against the wooden floors.

"What was that for?!" Eric shouted, rubbing his back as he groaned on the floor and Saphire gathered all the blanket to her chest, glancing down at herself. She was in Eric's large button-up shirt while he was half naked, revealing his chest and his abs. Flushing furiously, her eyes were still a bit wide, remembering the activities they had done that night.

Saphire let out a nervous chuckle before letting out a tiny apology, "Sorry.."

An explosion of contentedness bursted through her entire body as Eric stood up and walked towards the bed, sitting down on the corner while there was a grin accompanied his soft eyes. His warm hands cupped her cheek while his right hand supported his relaxed posture. Saphire also let out a grin and cupped her smaller hands on his, lowering her eyes while a blush spreaded.

She quietly turned her head before placing a small kiss on the palm of his hand while a faint blush spreaded on Eric's cheeks. "I love you.." She whispered quietly before being engulfed in a hug. Eric's entire muscular body suffocated her as his neck pressed against her cheek while his faint cologne and musk evaded her privacy. She didn't mind, however.

She returned the hug as she heard him shakily sigh, his shyness and excitement obvious from the smile on her own neck. In a few moment of silence, he pulled back and looked straight in her eyes, glad that the activities from last night did not affect their relationship and the atmosphere today.

Eric got a bit more serious as a question popped up in his head, "Before yesterday... was it your first?" Saphire tilted her head in confusion, looking at him before an idea popped in her head and she sighed, closing her eyes as she leaned back, revealing her neck. "Hm.. I never told anyone this.. but in high school-"

"Oh.. I understand," Eric said, there was evident sadness in his tone and face but she grinned secretly, clearing her throat before failing and bursting out laughing. Eric turned around in surprise, only to see Saphire grinning and wiping tears away from her eyes, "I'm joking. You took my first. I treasure my v-card for a long time," Saphire sighed before calming her personality and asking, "What about you?"

"I was a virgin before yesterday, also," Eric said and Saphire laughed, before knocking her head into his shoulder. He was visibly more happy as he lifted her head, closing her eyes before pressing a warm kiss on her forehead.

Before he was going to pull away, a female's voice was accompanied with the open slamming of her door. "Hey bitch, where is my fruit sna- OH MY GOD!" May turned around in a frenzy, leaving the door open while the two on the bed glanced at each other and chuckled a little in confusion.

"May, your fruit snacks are here, you just didn't-" Callex had come shortly after, blocking May from running away as she clashed into Callex's broad shoulder. Callex peaked inside the door while May glanced back with a glare towards Eric who stood up and pushed them out the room, "YOU BETTER EXPLAIN THIS, YOU TWO!" Callex turned her head around and covered her eyes before winking at Eric and grinning, Eric returning the gesture before the door closed on the both of them.

Eric returned to the bed and quietly fixed the blanket on top of Saphire, making her warmer. "You're explaining to May. She doesn't like anything happening to me. By the way, my stomach's really hurting.." Saphire said, groaning as sweat visibly rolled down her temples. Concerned, Eric grabbed Saphire and pulled him a bit closer to his chest, his warm hands supporting the back of her head while he gently whispered. "What happened? Where does it hurt?" He asked in the most gentle voice possible before Saphire pushed him slightly away.

"I wonder why it hurts? Maybe because you-"

Saphire didn't finish her sentence before she felt her blanket unravel, and a warm hand different compared to hers pushed her wrist down on top of her pillow, pinning her against the bed while his smirking face loomed over hers. Saphire's eyes were wide as he began to taunt, "Awe.. my little Saphire. You can't be that weak? I didn't even go as hard yesterday.. we could've gone a couple more rounds-"

Saphire's eyes were still wide as she felt her heart thump in her chest, quicker and quicker. She was aware that her stomach wasn't hurting as much as she made it sound or look, but she should take precautions. With her great skills in acting, she flipped her head away, hiding it in her arms which were still held hostage and began to groan, clenching as teeth as she felt Eric's grip loosen. "Are you okay? Saphire? I'll go bring it, I was just joking," Eric panicked and immediately rushed to get her medicine and water hidden in her cabinet on the wall.

She swallowed the pill and water while Eric watched, before placing it on her nightstand and she lifted her arms, Eric laughing before picking her up bridal style and entering the bathroom. Gently placing her on the closed toilet lid, they both brushed their teeth before Saphire sighed and stood up shakily, her thighs weak. "I'm showering first," She said, holding the counter as Eric went quiet before coming behind her, and grabbing her waist firmly while resting his head on her shoulder.

"Hmm," He hummed, "Why not take a shower together? It'll be a better time, and less waste of water," Eric tried to persuade as Saphire lowered her head and giggled, bringing her cold hands to touch his cheek and smirk, "That's not a bad idea.." She began backing up while Eric followed unknowingly, "But how about.. no?" Saphire opened the door and pushed Eric back, sticking her tongue out in a teasing manner before locking the door with a giggle as she saw Eric try to enter once again with shock on his face.

"Ah.. you're so mean," He laughed and audibly also heard Saphire laugh in the bathroom. Sighing, he saw down on her bed as he took out his phone. It was afternoon already and a message pinged from his phone.

From Callex: I'll be back in an hour. May's still inside the house, so if you need anything ask her or your girlfriend

Eric smiled slightly as the message.

From Callex: I'm getting out luggage. Due to business reasons, we'll be staying here for a couple more days. You're explaining what happened yesterday

Eric sighed before rolling his eyes, typing out:

From Eric: I didn't know May's nickname was called "business". You still haven't made a move? That's sad. Oh yeah, bring me my cologne and tell my driver to bring my car.
