It was twelve in the afternoon, and none of the bosses had woken up yet. However, all of the people who took shelter in their home was already awake and eating their lunch.
Silence filled the room as they silently ate their lunch.
...
...
"When do you think boss will wake up?" Faye asked and the rest of them shrugged.
The cheery one of the group, Mervyn, broke the silence and let out a little giggle. All of the seven people currently eating turned to look at him in surprise.
"... why're you laughing."
"What's underneath the tab- ITS A FUCKING-"
"DID YOU BRING A SNAKE?!"
"WHY IS THERE A SNAKE-"
The dining room was now in chaos as everyone panicked except for Mervyn.
"What.. I thought he was cute so I brought him home. I saw that he was lonely," he pouted while everyone began throwing things at Mervyn.
"What's going on..???" May walked down the stairs and saw a group of people, two fainted on the ground while they were all on top of their seats or the table, screaming their heads off.
"AH ITS CRAWLING uP-"
"EVERYBODY RUN!"
Everybody then dashed out the dining room, hiding behind chairs and such while staring at Mervyn in disappointment. May came over and stared at the snake, who in all honesty didn't look like a venomous snake or like it can harm anyone. She placed her hand down and it slithered up her arm, wrapping itself around her waist.
"Awe he's cute."
The rest of the people stared in shock. "CUTE?!"
"Yeah, he's cute but he might eat Ori or Lovely so sorry, you can't keep him here," May smiled and Mervyn immediately saddened. A little flustered, May answered, "Or you can. Just keep him in your room."
Everyone other than Mervyn slumped on the ground in absolute defeat. Mervyn was then all smiles that morning.

"WHY IS THERE A SNAKE-"
It was currently four in the morning, when both the club and the bar had closed. Their meeting had been moved to tomorrow once again because the two refused to show their faces.
May woke up to the loud scream of the club owner and as she walked out, she was greeted with the sight of her curled on top of the high couch. "WHO BROUGHT A SNAKE. IN. THE. HOUSE?"
Yawning, she rubbed her eyes as she walked over to Ruby, the new family in the house. "Ruby, come on." The snake obediently crawled onto her arm.
In disgust, Saphire shivered and immediately scooted away from May. "It's Mervyn's new pet. Say hello to Ruby."
"YOU GAVE THAT THING A NAME?!" Saphire was freaking out while May calmly walked over to Mervyn's room, knocking and when Mervyn opened the door, let Ruby in.
May returned with no snake on her body but her disheveled hair and pajama, "It's just a snake.. at least I didn't put it in your room."
"DON'T. LOVELY WILL ATTACK AND SWALLOW RUBY. I DON'T WANT LOVELY TO SMELL LIKE SNAKE, I'VE SMELT ENOUGH MY ENTIRE LIFE."
"The shade," May laughed before yawning again. "Go to bed, stop stealing kitchen food or else I'm going to need to go grocery shopping again."
Saphire shakily got off the couch with her stolen midnight snack and glanced around for another escaped snake. "Ugh what if the snake sneaks into my room?" Saphire asked and May shrugged. "Then damn. Another snake you have to deal with."
May's joke ended with Saphire glaring at May before silence erupted between the two. It was silent for a while while they walked to their perspective bedrooms before-
"AGHHHHHHH MERVYN YOUR SNAKE-"

May ended up waking up with a nearly broken neck that morning when someone jumped on her bed in fright when coming to wake her up and seeing Ruby on the floor.
She didn't understand, it was a cute snake. Of course, she didn't like certain animals and was scared of them, but she loved animals more so than human beings.
While deep in thought someone came to provoke her bar once again. Someone knocked on her door twice without her hearing, and the second time ended up being bangs on the wooden door.
"OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR. IS THIS HOW THIS BAR TREATS VIP GUESTS?!"
May snapped out of her thought and grabbed her gun, shoving it to the waistband of her pants before opening the door, a drunk VIP guest knocking down before falling on May. In disgust, May kicked the man down to the floor before sighing, watching his drowsy body struggle to stand up straight.
He stood up and May slightly touch her gun, watching him yell at her while her patience ran thin. Barging into her private room, touching her, and now yelling at her?
"YOU SLUT. I PAID TO GET IN YET YOU ARE GOING TO GET ME OFF THE VIP LIST? DO YOU WANT TO DIE, HUH? DO YOU?" He began to get closer, his hands lifted as if he wanted to strangle May. May slowly backed up, her cold intimidating eyes never leaving contact.
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR FUCKING BULLSHIT. YOU REFUSE TO LET ME HAVE SEX WITH ANY OF YOUR WORKERS WHO PURPOSELY SEDUCE ME, ESPECIALLY THAT SAPHIRE BITCH-"
May didn't like it when people insulted her but what can she do? But when people insulted her best friend for decades, that was when she had extremely limited patience.
In a split second, May clenched her fist and threw a straight punch, enough to knock out a person like him and give him at least a concussion. In anger, she glared down at the man, who she gave mercy to and watched him slowly sober at what he had just done.
However, he had no conscience and jumped up, grabbing May by her long, dark hair in fury.
"YOU DARE YOU FUCKING PUNCH ME? WATCH HOW I DO YOU TONIGHT YOU SLU- AGH!"
The female who hadn't spoke a single word felt her nerves snap as she took out her gun and shot by his arm, making him release her hair a she fell to the ground wailing.
Gritting her teeth, May climbed on top of him and stepped on his bleeding arm, before snarling her first words of the entire harassment event, "Say that about Saphire again and even death will be too fucking good for your sorry ass, you fucking insolent retard."
Rushing footsteps came around the door as hushed whispers from the VIP guests was heard. The private room was located downstairs, so that only truly important people felt special. However, as her bodyguards came, all they saw was the crying man with his bloody arm, and May shouting at him while cruely making blood spill.
"First thing you did wrong was come break my door. Second thing is come uninvited. Third is invade my privacy. Fourth is insult my workers. Fifth is insult me and even threaten me. Sixth," May lifted her feet and stomped hard onto his arm, hearing the satisfying crack of his arm as people outside winced in pain for him, "and sixth is insulting my best friend." May ended before pulling his arm back, making him cry harder as he pounded on the floor, begging for her to stop.
"This is my space, my land, I didn't give you permission to barge in," May said before turning him around, slapping his cheek and grinning sweetly, "So listen and be a good boy and listen to me, okay?" May ended as her smile dropped and she got off the man, shoving her gun down her waistband again.
"I'M CALLING THE POLICE ON YOU! IM GOING TO GET A LAWSUIT, AND CALL-"
The gun was once again shoved in his mouth as fat tears rolled down his plump cheeks.
He wailed as May threatened, "Say what?"
He silenced immediately and May walked off, letting the people carry the unconscious, scared man away.

While May dealt with the bullshit at her bar, Saphire walked to the front of the big building, taking off her sunglasses and fixing her hair a bit before smirking.
"Won't come meet us huh? Cowards."
