Something warm crawled up her arms slowly while she furrowed her eyebrows in the foreign feeling. She slowly cracked open her eyes, bleary because of the light shining straight in her face. Next to her, a weight was stopping any further movement from her, as an arm wrapped around her neck gently with warm breathing right beside her ear. She turned her head slightly to the side, seeing Eric peacefully sleeping next to her while she examined him in complete silence.
A familiar fire burned inside her as she felt tempted to touch his face, so she lifted her injured left arm and hesitated right before him, eyebrows furrowed and hands stuck in one position before her fingers gently brushed his hair to the side. His thick, dark brows were arched upwards, long dark eyelashes and a fair face. He was in no doubt handsome as the Devil himself, a charm with little devious nature in them, but obviously in a good way. His lips were slightly opened and little puffs of air escaped and gently tickled her neck while his long, brown hair touched his eyebrow and looked extremely fluffy.
.. Gosh she loves him so much.
She once again touched his hair, stroking his cheeks down to his strong jawbone, and down to his Adam's apple. Saphire wrapped his hands around his neck, seeking warmth as his eyes fluttered open at this action and grabbed her hand, before wrapping it around completely on his neck. "Taking advantage of someone while they're sleeping hm?" He hummed, closing his eyes once again as he wrapped his arms around her body and crushed her in a hug while peppering her with kisses from her face, down to her neck and her wrist right next to him.
Feeling ticklish from his actions, she giggled a little before retreating her injured hand. "We have to get to May. Did.. Did they call or something?" May asked and Eric looked at her, confused. "Don't you have your phone?" He asked and she shook her head, "I left it in the room. Can't you call Callex? Or May?" Saphire asked, helping herself up as Eric began to go through his phone. "Callex blocked me," He grumbled unhappily before pressing a number and beginning to talk into it. ".. Heyyy. Yeah it's me. Is it done down there?" He began talking while Saphire stayed silent. After a few more seconds of silence, he hummed and she saw him brightly smile, and once again the flare inside her burned up. "Yeah, thanks. We'll go get May and Cale first, and then we'll come to you."
Eric ended the call and then looked down at Saphire while he kneeled, and shoved his phone back into the back pockets of his suit pants. He smiled warmly at her, and his eyes immediately melted with warmth as soon as he saw her messy hair, wide eyes in confusion and her tiny hands gripping her shoulder. "They've taken care of everything," He kissed her on the neck once again, letting her grab his hair gently while her other arm wrapped around his neck, "We can go down now. But let's go to Cale first, yeah?" Eric moved back and smiled and Saphire nodded while her own face replicated his gentle smile unknowingly.
May grunted behind the couch as another loud bang sounded from the glass. She looked and saw a man throwing himself against the glass before someone came in and immediately shouted, seeing the man stare back in the glass, making unknown long eye contact with her with furious eyes before he quickly jumped and moved back slowly, hands dropping to his side. He glanced to the people who barged into the other room next to him, guns in hand while his hands dropped the gun. While there were no sounds from the moving mouths, she could tell he was about to be busted soon. Callex was gripping her arm tightly, eyes moving with her and disregarding the outside world completely. He was completely silent the whole time while his hands gripped tightly onto her arm, his eyebrows furrowed and brushed back hair messy with a couple strands falling out here and there.
Finally realizing the amount of strength he was putting into gripping her arm, May turned back, confused as she looked down and saw Callex spacing out while his eyes focused into hers. May moved back slightly, "Let go." Callex lowered his eyes, blinking a couple times before releasing her, not completely, but enough so that she didn't continue losing blood circulation. Something seemed to be going on in his mind in the dark room without any light. The secret passage ways used solar panels instead, while the rest of the house functioned on wires. Without knowing what was happening, May felt something wrong with Callex, and moved a bit closer, before awkwardly giving him a hug. She felt her eyelashes quiver as she gently wrapped her arms around his head, placing her chin on the crown of his head while feeling him tense underneath her.
"It's okay." She didn't know what was wrong, but all she could give was silent comfort as she felt the tense body beneath her slowly relax before his long arms wrapped around her waist silently and pressed their bodies tighter, feeling her body lower as he straightened his back and hugged her properly with his head buried in her shoulder. ".. I'm sorry." May stayed silent, not hearing anything he was saying as eventually all the figures in the other room left and she continued hugging Callex while gently rubbing her hand down the back of his head in a comforting manner. Through all of this, she couldn't see the widened eyes, blush slowly enveloping his ears down to his cheeks and neck, and his trembling hands. Ah... she seriously hugged him.
He was actually thinking of ways to possibly secretly kill the people outside after recognizing the man who had bright blue eyes and thin eyebrows, arched up in a way which could be missed for a woman, but May had taken the uncomfortable silence as a sad silence. Eventually, May pulled back and kneeled in front of him, sighing while rubbing his head. She stopped and stood up, seeing the closet door open as she went to greet Saphire.
When she was gone, Callex covered his mouth with trembling hands and a still redden face.
.. wHAT THE FUCK.
