Cascading Empire

Chapter 32

             May turned around along with Saphire, who barely lifted her head to see who was spitting at them before lowering her head, and smirking before lowering her body down and buying another bag of chips. May rolled her eyes, before crossing her arms. People turned towards them, alerted, seeing May's hands touch her pistol. The man in front of them was a head taller than May, brown hair brushed aside as his tan face smirked at her, hands at his waist. "What're you doing here?" May asked, lowering her head as she looked down at Saphire, alertness inside her as he stepped a bit closer, grabbing her wrist. "Let me talk to you alone." 

            May felt the poison inside her stir a bit as she winced innerly, but her face was calm on the outside. "I'm good," She jerked her hand away as she turned to Saphire and whispered something, before smiling at her. Seeing her ignore him, Kade immediately felt frustrated as he grabbed her wrist again, before something cold was pressed against his neck. Saphire had moved up, taking out her pistol before pressing it hard against his neck, seeing his adam's apple bob up and down while he slowly let go of her wrist. "Either you're talking to both of us, or none of us," Saphire glared at the man as May turned around. "He's talking to none of us," May said as Sapphire followed her while Kade watched furiously at the backs leaving. He pulled out a pistol and immediately aimed it at Saphire's back before yelling at them. 

            They turned back, seeing the man point the gun at them while a fire began to swell in their stomachs. May wanted to crouch down and scream in pain, feeling the poison begin to travel up her arms and making it numb, but still able to function. May also pulled out her pistol as her hand shook involuntary. He saw this and immediately began laughing, throwing his head back as May pulled the trigger, shooting the ground near him, "Shoot us, I dare you."

           He glared her, a smirk slowly growing on his face as he began to walk closer and closer, eyes glaring at her. She immediately pulled the trigger twice, shooting him on the right shoulder where he was holding the gun and his shin, forcing him to kneel down and drop his gun while shouting in pain. Running over, she immediately felt a force make her crouch her body, dropping to the ground in a kneeling position while in pain, she still grabbed the gun however, and aimed it to his head while people began to scatter and shout. 

           "RUN! THERE'S A FIGHT ON THE ROOF!" 

            "SCATTER! SCATTER!" 

            Sebastian immediately ran up the stairs, seeing May and Saphire in obvious pain while the female kneeled near the man. Saphire was also crouched down, pointing a gun at the man while behind her and called Sebastian over. The man laughed and shouted, "YOU WANT TO KILL ME?! YOU WANT TO KILL ME?! AFTER ALL OF THIS YOU WANT TO KILL ME. AHAHAHAH." May winced more and more, her hand going to cover her stomach and the man started shouting again, "AFTER KILLING SOMEONE OF IMPORTANT BUSINESS YOU WANT TO KILL ME TO COVER YOUR CRIME?!" He began shouting and May fell into a swirl of confusion, thinking back to everyone important she had murdered and thought of no one. 

            "NO BODY MOVE!" 

             "YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. NO ONE MOVE." 

              Sebastian lifted his head, seeing a group of policemen come as he felt his heart drop, seeing them begin to form a circle around May and Kade. A man behind the group showed up towards Saphire, smiling at her and seeing her eyes widen, before the policemen covered her figure. The policemen held their guns to Sebastian and he immediately knew nothing could go against them. 

              Except for maybe those two. 

              Sebastian left and immediately started calling Callex and Eric, while Kade pushed May to the ground in pain, feeling her point her gun to his stomach. He lowered his face near her ears as his hands began to turn the gun towards herself, her hands trembling while he was smirking and whispering, "You dare to shoot me? I told you, you should have never left me.. I told you I would make your life hell... I told you," He said and pointed the gun to her shoulder, before making her press the trigger against herself, feeling her body tighten when the gun entered her shoulder while her face stayed calm, cold sweat running down her temple. 

             Kade took the guns out of her hands after a few moments of struggle and pointed to her left shoulder, seeing her glaring at him with ferocious eyes while the sun shone in them, revealing the golden orbs. He immediately pulled the trigger, seeing her eyebrows flinch and furrow further while her hands clenched. Blood dripped to the ground, spreading around her while she began to hear Sapphire screaming, her face tightened. "If you do anything to Saphire, I swear to you, you won't be dying a painless death." 

           Kade's sadistic side immediately showed as he let out a low chuckle, his hovering body pressing lower and lower near her face, trying to kiss her as she turned her head away in disgust, anger true in her eyes. He felt angry at this as his smile tightened, his hands traveling to her shoulder before pressing down hard at her shoulder, making her whimper in pain, her face facing him again. "Let go." 

           "You finally looked at me.. you finally faced me again after all this time.." He smiled, as both his hands began to dig into her wounds, his knees pressing down on her hands as he dropped the gun near her head. She grit her teeth tightly, refusing to cry in pain as she turned her head away once again and grunted, feeling his fingers dig in deeper and deeper into her skin. 

           And finally after minutes of torture, she lost consciousness.
