May grumbled as she silently chewed on her chips, slowly nibbling on the edges until she finished one, then grabbed another. Sebastian came by, glancing at May a couple of times before sighing, walking over and grabbing the bag of chips while May silently watched her snack get snatched away.
"Sebastian, what're you doing with my chips..?" May asked, as Sebastian quietly walked off. Grunting, May ignored it as she returned to her work which she needed to finish since their partnered businesses were getting publicized.
Angrily typing away after ten minutes, Sebastian came back with a healthier snack, including fruits. "Eat this first. Don't just munch on chips, it's bad for your health," Sebastian warned, his face cold and stoic as May glanced up, and glanced down again. "I'll eat in a bit."
This answered irked Sebastian in the wrong way as he sighed, "Saphire said she wanted to talk to you."
Finally, May glanced up in confusion, "What did she need me for?" Sebastian lowered his eyes and focused on May's hands which were slightly trembling. ".. Are you hands cramping?" She glanced down at her hand before shaking her head, "When is Callex coming?"
Hearing the name, Sebastian's eyebrow slightly twitched unnoticeably while his hands clenched, "He's down in the parking garage, currently parking his car." He gave information as May's hands stopped working, nonchalantly chewing on her fruits while her eyes landed on the keyboard of her laptop, staring absentmindedly. ".. Is Saphire okay?" May asked and Sebastian sighed, before answering, "She's fine. Eric has asked you not to worry and that he will be the one responsible for his actions along with Saphire's, so he pleads for you to not bear any grudge or anger."
May nodded, spacing out before her eyebrows began to get more and more furrowed, realizing the words that had come out of his mouth, "HE. PLEADS? FOR FORGIVENESS? OH, SO HE ALSO KNOWS HOW TO PLEAD, THAT PRICK-" May stood up, before stopping and clenching her head, feeling her dizziness hit her as Sebastian was immediately alerted. "Boss, don't overexert yourself with work. All of us are worried about you," He pleaded.
May waved at him, "It's fine. I just sat down for too long. Are they still in their bed?" May asked and Sebastian nodded, his hands still gripping the side of her arms. "Okay," May said before walking towards their bed, and knocking harshly on the door while Sebastian brought the plate of fruits away.
"Saphire? Sa-" "May!" Saphire opened the door, a smile engrained on her face as she stepped out, grinning widely. May slightly turned her head in confusion, eyebrows furrowed as she lowered her hand that was going for another knock. ".. Why're you so happy. Where's that pric- Eric," May awkwardly coughed in the middle before seeing Eric come out in the back, smiling nervously.
Saphire secretly smiled at her before moving her hands from her back, revealing two swimsuits.
...
No way.
"... You're not.. Thinking of that.. Right..?"
"I am. Come on, let's go. It's been so long since we've had fun."
May unconsciously backed up, glaring at that evil swimsuit she was holding up. "I.. have work to do," May made excuses and Saphire rolled her eyes before throwing the swimsuit to May, May reflexively catching it. "It's only one day, Sebastian can take over, and Ethan can take over for me. Come onnn~" Saphire came closer and May sighed, before rolling her hands and shoving her hands down her pocket.
".. Okay."They all packed their bags as the people living in their house waved goodbye to them, wishing for them to have a good time as Callex came beind, driving out his car to match up with theirs.
While Sebastian urged for him to help carry May's things, May wasn't weak so she just threw them into the back. She smiled at Sebastian before turning to Callex, who had a sour face on, facing Eric and Saphire who were laughing. Saphire pushed Eric slightly, before walking to May and whispering in her ears.
May's eyes widened in confusion, turning her neck to see Saphire's smirk before May also laughed at the silly idea. "Hey, Eric, Callex. Let's race."
Eric and Callex's attention immediately diverted to May, seeing her smirking while leaning her arm on her black, metallic, Lamborghini car, Saphire leaning on her open car door. "Race?" They answered one unison.
Saphire shrugged and walked to her car, entering, and closing the car door before sticking her head out the car window, "To the beach. One! Two-!"
"Wait, wait, hold up-!"
"Let's go!"
Eric was confused in his white car, while May and Callex were both hyped, Callex starting the engine to his gray expensive vehicle.
"THREE!" May shouted and immediately revved off, stick shifting her car while an excited smirk covered her face. Saphire quickly caught up, slightly surpassing while Callex was close behind and Eric was speeding up.
Soon enough, Eric began to pass Saphire and Callex, getting near May as May looked out her window, glaring at Eric before speeding up, surprised when Callex immediately surpassed and so did Saphire.
The fun continued until they reached the beach, Saphire and May coming in at a tie and clapping while Eric and Callex sighed in disappointment, coming in last. "Ah.. you guys won."
Saphire smirked before pointing to the two, laughing, "I know you used to be a racer and you're better at using shortcuts. But we," Saphire leaned on May, who was distracted with the warm ground, "We won."
And Eric felt his heart pound once more seeing her victorious smile. May looked up and saw Callex gently smiling at her, before averting his eyes and coughing. May ignored it and immediately went to her car, taking out her items as she helped Saphire take out her stuff, "We're going to go change," she said and walked off, Saphire following behind to the bathroom as Eric glanced at Callex, who was rubbing his nose awkwardly.
"You lost on purpose, huh Mr. Ex-Racer."
Callex smirked, "I don't know what you're talking about."
