May grunted, feeling sunlight directly hit her eyes with the open curtains. Feeling that the weight on her body had shifted to her right side, she turned her head, to see Callex still deeply asleep. She lifted her body up, her hair scattering around her as she began to glance around the silent room. After a few moments, she got off the couch and fixed the blanket on Callex, before opening the door and quietly closing it behind her. Sighing with a destination in mind, she began to make her way to Saphire's room.
When she entered, she saw Saphire still dead asleep while Eric fixed on his shirt. The room smelled entirely of sex as she closed her eyes and turned around, plugging her nose. "What the fuck, Eric," She said. Eric nervously chuckled and dressed faster as she grabbed the febreeze bottle and sprayed it around her. "Go out, Saphire and I need to talk," She said and Eric hummed before walking past her, and out the door, apologizing silently. May sighed before spraying the bottle more and more as she got closer to the bed, seeing all the used protection and empty bottle of lubricant. She rolled her eyes back and closed them to spare them from being burned alive.
She sprayed a bunch more, hesitating to sit on the side of the bed, before checking it was clean and sitting down. She gently shook at Saphire's shoulder a few times, whispering her name before she finally grunted and turned around on her back, rubbing her eyes while staring at May in confusion. ".. Yeah? Why're you here?" Saphire sat up, wrapping herself in her blanket while covering her mouth with a yawn and May watched silently. "The workers are out and currently taking care of our businesses, but it's not going to be long before someone tries to attack us again. We should take precaution on poison lessons," May suggested and Saphire glanced at May quietly before nodding. "I agree. It'll be a lot more dangerous from now on, knowing that the people from last night will attack again." May didn't get the full sentence but she nodded anyway, getting the gist.
"Then.. take a shower and then come down to the kitchen table. Do you want to eat or not before starting the precaution measures?" May asked and Saphire laughed a little, ".. Food is always a better option."
May sat down at the kitchen table, setting out a plate of food for each of the people in the house currently before sitting down and beginning to eat. "Callex, Eric, come eat." She ate silently but quickly, before clearing her plate and standing up while the other two silently also ate. May washed her plate, putting it away, and turning back to sit down with the two. Eric was on his phone, watching something while Callex ate and glared at the table almost as if in competition and thinking in anger. She sighed before deciding to tell the two, "We're.. going to practice taken poison to strengthen our immune system. It'll just start at low levels of pain, and once we've gotten used to it, then.. then we'll start to progress the levels of pain."
The two had lifted their heads when she started speaking, and by the time she was done, neither of them wanted to eat anymore, their spoons dropped while their eyes were glaring at May in silence. After a few moments, they immediately bursted, "Are you fucking crazy?!" Callex walked over and grabbed her right arm, pointing at it, "You're not even cured yet and you want to fucking take another poison dose? Are you actually trying to kill yourself?" Callex asked, his eyebrows furrowed and eyes clearly full of fury. May grabbed her own hand away, barely able to read his lips through the fast paced words. "You're talking too fast. If it's the current poison I have right now, I already ate the medicine mixed with my food, it'll fix in a few minutes." May explained and Callex felt a little more relieved but not much.
"So right after you are healed from one poison you decide to take another poison?!" Callex asked while Eric continued sitting shocked in his seat. May then glared at him, "Because of this one incident, you're going to use it as an excuse forever for me to not help myself in not getting killed in situations like this where they would most likely use poison to get rid of us all. I'm not even asking you to do it, I have asked Saphire, and she agreed with me," May spat back in annoyance also and Callex grabbed both her wrist this time while Eric had long left, hearing that Saphire had apparently lost her last braincell and agreed to this stupid plan of theirs.
"I don't care. That's not good for your body!" He shouted to which May retorted back, "It's not your body. I didn't ask you to do it with us." May angrily said before turning around and heading down the basement while leaving Callex with a heavy heart and an angry fire inside his chest.
Saphire and May looked at the glass tube containing a clear liquid before reading off the notes on the poison, "Will hurt internally for a while.. blah blah blah.. here's the antidote.. from Amethyst.. please don't die.. Yeah yeah," May mumbled before looking back at the shot of poison and glancing at Saphire who had already began chugging it. The previous poison had wore off, and now she was drinking another. May downed the glass before making a disgusted face. "Ugh, this tastes horrible," May said, pursing her lips and Saphire nodded, wiping her mouth. "When will the effects kick in?" May shrugged, picking up the paper once again, "It says.. in about ten to half an hour. Maybe not, I don't know. Depends on the strength of your immune system. It only lasts for about two days, try not to have sex with Eric in the meantime. Your room smelled disgusting this morning."
Saphire 'ooh-ed'. "So you're the one who came in to spray the freshener today, huh?" She laughed a little and May rolled her eyes, before getting up and heading upstairs. Before they even reached the stairs, they heard some bashing sounds and immediately turned right, where they usually kept their arcades and gym.
Eric and Callex were casually punching at the arcade punching bag to test out your strength with angry auras around them, dark and menacing to whoever talked. The prisoners all held their breath, not knowing what was going on outside of their cages. May and Saphire gulped, seeing that they had broken the machine's max amount of strength possible and it was glitching out.
'.. They hated the idea THAT much, huh.'
