Nervously chuckling, May turned Saphire around before they began walking up the stairs again, avoiding Callex and Eric's angry stares towards the two. "Where are you going?" Callex spoke up and began walking to them in advance. Saphire turned around and answered, "We're fine. It'll only be for two days, "While speaking, she turned to Eric, seeing him look straight into her eyes like he was about to just devour her whole. May spun Saphire around once again before heading up the stairs, forcing her to sit in front of her on the dinner table.
After a few moments of silence, Saphire spoke up, "Do you think I will die in my bed after two days?" Saphire asked and May shrugged, "Then.. you'll probably die. At least it's in the hands of someone you love," May spoke and Saphire nodded. "I guess. We never.. officiated anything though?" She said, a weird feeling beginning to grow in her stomach as May shrugged, "You can decide if you want to.. be in a relationship." Saphire nodded, lowering her head to her hands as her eyebrows began to furrow, grunting. "How strong is this poison?" Saphire asked and May also began to feel the medicine kicking in, but her face remained stoic.
"Usually can kill a person in a day," She said. Saphire nodded. They can handle this, they've started the lesson before, so their bodies are already immune to some weaker poison, so they started with a definitely more dangerous poison. "It's only two days," Saphire sighed as she spoke and leaned back in her chair, "We'll survive."
"Yeah, we've survived period cramps," May said, holding her stomach as the flare inside her stomach began to worsen, feeling like they were beginning to feel compress. May took out her phone and looked at the time, "It's time to go to work, let's go." Saphire nodded and stood up, supporting herself on the table as she walked to her keys and and began to walk out the door. "Let's go."
Saphire and May first walked to Saphire's club, entering through the bodyguards and nodding at them in return before walking in, feeling the familiar sensation of beat pulsing through their veins but the poison inside them refused to let them enjoy the party in peace. People were dancing wildly, screeching here and there while some danced dirty, grabbing each other's hips and shoving them at guys. People were laughing, holding drinks while jumping and stumbling everywhere. "WOOOHH! PARTY NIGHT GUYS!" Someone shouted and Saphire picked out a table, her face now calm while her insides burns and squeezed, "Let's sit down there."
Saphire and May sat down on the chair, letting the loud music and singer on stage begin to start a song while people began to push around and kiss in the corners. May ordered a drink and sighed, saying, ".. I forgot how loud and dirty your place is," She laughed and Saphire answered, "Just how I like my time in bed." She smirked, laughing as she watched their priority drinks immediately get made. May made a face of disgust before thinking of something. She then asked, "Let's go to the rooftop of the bar, there's more wind there. Here is hot and dirty," She shivered in disgust as Saphire nodded. "Then let's go." Saphire whispered something to the worker about their drinks and she nodded, before they left and exited to head towards the bar.
May went through the VIP room, before entering the elevator with an identity and voice pass, and then entering the bar before looking around. "Let me go ask Sebastian something first. He's holding the bar down," She said and Saphire agreed with a hum before the elevator door opened and they stepped out, before it closed once again.
May walked through the bar while Saphire sat down and she began to head to Sebastian who was pleasing some female guests. May tapped on his shoulder silently and he turned around, shocked before his eyes brightened by many levels. "Boss?! You're back?" He shouted in the quite quiet room and she nodded. "Yeah, I am," She decided to not tell him about the poison. "We're going to go on the roof, make sure to watch over this place with more security. Is their baby okay?" May asked and he nodded. "They're doing fine. The workers are fawning and spoiling her and her unborn baby," Sebastian laughed and May nodded, lowering her head before leaving.
Saphire and May headed towards the roof, the instant they opened the door, a breath of fresh air immediately brushed up in their faces. It was already night, stars shining brightly while the people on the top chilled silently, sitting near the blocked edges while drinking their drinks and silently chatting in peace. A VIP guest currently borrowed the room on the top, and they came here for a fresh breath of air, so they stayed open to the cold breeze. They walked near the edge and to the snacks machine before buying some snacks and sitting down on some chairs.
They began chatting, "After this poison, what's next?" Saphire asked, beginning to eat and May shrugged, "Something stronger. Probably something that can kill someone in half a day." Saphire shivered, "Then.. Aren't we just testing out limits, and not making our body used to poisons." Saphire said and May was silent for a while before nodding. "Yeah, they let's take this poison a few more times, before we can't feel the pain anymore." May said, taking the last piece of snack inside her bag and standing up, Saphire following behind her and finished her snack while they walked.
They chatted for a while, and smiled before someone's voice rang behind them. "AND WHO IS THIS I SEE?!"
