They didn't budge one inch, but Kade sighed after a while and politely headed out the door with Lucas scowling bitterly behind him. When the door closed, May grinned at Saphire, giving her the pants while she examined the shirt.
...
"What the hell.. is this?" May asked, lifting up the red shirt with a wide open side. ".. Is this.. an open-back?" She asked and Saphire looked at the pants. They looked like normal sweatpants. "These look normal. What shitty taste," She criticized, looking at the thread barely holding the front and barely present back. togther. "You're not wearing this," May grunted in dismay as a voice came through from the door, "Hurry up. You guys don't have much more time to communicate."
"Shut up!" May shouted right back, punching at the door slight and surprising the other two at the other side. They went quiet after a bit and Saphire went back to concentrating on changing. "Come on, hurry." May was about to take off her shirt and exchange it with Saphire's but the other women stopped her, "You don't even like wearing revealing clothes," Reasoned the shorter female and May shrugged, "And you don't even like wearing no-fashion sense clothes." Sapphire made a face but changed anyways.
"Are you guys done or not? We're coming in!" Lucas shouted angrily and Saphire shouted right back, "Shut up you prick! What was the point of asking if you were going to barge in anyways?!" The two male saw the two female still on the floor, next to the pile of spilled food. Lucas glanced down at it, before turning to Kade who was giving him a strange look. "Didn't I say to treat her nicer?" He whispered and Lucas grunted in displeasure, "I did. But she gave me attitude." Kade glared at him, "Clean it up. Why is this room so stuffy," He asked, glancing at the boxes piled up at the room which was also by the same design as May's. The two women ignored them, chattering away on the floor while laughing.
"I'll clean it up in a bit. In the meantime, how're the people doing?" Kade had leaned in closer to whisper and Lucas responded back, "Those two pricks are surprisingly moving really fast. We'll have to relocate again soon. They've already found out the vicinity of this place." Kade was alerted by this, and his whisper began to get lower, ".. When do you think they'll get here?" Lucas shrugged, "I don't know. Probably best to just blackmail them to get them off track for a while." They went silent for a while, watching the two female chat excitedly. Even though they were in this shitty situation, they really didn't care as long as they had each other's company.
Lucas thought of something and turned to Kade once again, crossing his arms while Kade was in deep thought, "Do you think that it will be easier to just involve their parents?" Kade turned around, surprised, "No. May's parents have disappeared off somewhere, we haven't' been able to locate them for a decade now. Saphire's parents don't even mind her being in this world of mafias. She doesn't listen to her grandmother's words, so what makes you think it'll be easy to just involve their parents-" "I'm talking about the two pricks," he cut off Kade and began explaining, "Their parents know their field of business, obviously. But seeing how Callex is just the adopted older son, and took after his dead parent's business, it'll be easier for Eric's parents to force them into marriage."
Kade shook his head, "Those two won't listen. We've all been friends before, you know how they act." Lucas lowered his head in thought, seeing May and Saphire now whispering quietly, giggling here and there. Seeing they were still deep in conversations, practically attached to each other while conversing, they continued their serious talk. "It doesn't seem like May and Saphire remember those two pricks though," Lucas said, humming in thought and Kade nodded after a while, "It doesn't. Then that's good, we can threaten to reveal their old past to May and Saphire," Kade suggested before shaking his head, "No. I don't think that will work either. May isn't the type of person to betray you because you've had a bad past. Saphire will definitely ask for a proper explanation, but she won't just leave because of that."
