Luke's P.O.V

Sam and I reach my house. Although I wish we would've went to hers.

"Let me talk to Liz. I promise, it'll be fine." Sam suggests.

"No. I'll talk to my mum. You just don't worry about it." I run my hands from her shoulders, to her palms.

"Luke, you're not gonna stop me." Sam smiles, and reaches for the door handle.

I turn her back around, and quickly kiss her.

Her hand leaves the handle, and finds itself in my hair. Running her tongue over my lipring, she begs for entrance. Without acceptance, she bites my bottom lip, making my mouth agape. Sam snakes her tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch. My left arm falls to the bend of her back while my right hand is pressed against her cheek. Sam tugs at the ends of my hair, and slowly pulls apart.

"Nice try, Hemmings." She turns away and opens the door.

"Luke? Is that you?" Mum rushes to the door. She spots Samantha, then me. "Oh, good. You're both okay."

"Hi, Mum." I say giving her a kiss on the cheek. I give Sam a smirk as she narrows her eyes.

"Where were you two? Samantha, your parents called here asking for you. I had thought you two were at your house."

"Uh, no. Actually-"

"Sam needed a friend, so we went for a walk after school." I smile, walk over to Sam and drape an arm around her shoulders. "Right, Sam?"

Sam nudges her elbow in my side. "Oh yes." She puts on a smile as mum nods.

"Well, Sam, you better get home. Your parents are worried sick about you."

"I'm sure they are," Sam mumbles. "I'll see you later, Liz." Sam gives my mum a hug before walking towards the door.

"Ehem." I say, opening my arms.

"Oh, yes. I forgot my jacket." Sam walks past me to her jacket. "Thanks, Luke." She smiles, cheesly, then opens the door.

"Luke, you better walk her home. It's getting dark out." Mum assures.

"Yes, indeed." I smile.

Sam laughs and stands outside, waiting.

"You know I hate you, right?"

"Why-I never." I say, dramatically.

Sam laughs and wraps her arms around my waist.

"I'm just mad that you wouldn't let me tell your mum the truth."

"Sam, baby, it'll be fine. I promise." I kiss the top of her head. "Besides, she told me a lot about her and my dad's relationship when they were younger. About like us."

"Yeah, except they were probably dating long before."

"If you think about it, we were sorta on and off." I say as we take the turn to her house.

"True. But not committed." Sam stands in front of me as we reach the stop sign in front of her house. "Promise me something, Luke."

"Yeah?"

"Promise me you'll not lie to me." Sam looks deeply into my eyes.

I smile.

"I promise." I kiss her nose.

"Ever. Even if you're going to take a shit."

I laugh and nod. "Ever."

Sam smiles and continues walking.

"Promise me something." I say.

Sam looks at me.

"Promise me that you'll forever love me."

"Always." Sam kisses my nose, in return.

I nod.

"Hey, do you think maybe tomorrow you can come over?"

"Certainly." Sam smiles. "I'll be there, if I don't get into anymore trouble."

"Good. I kinda lied about today." I scratch the back of my neck.

"You're fine, Luke. I think today was perfect with you. Every day with you is perfect." Sam sweetly kisses my lips.

Before she can pull back, I deepen the kiss. Sam backs up against the bricks of her house. She wraps her legs around my waist, and, once again, begs for entrance. I greatly allow this time.

A couple minutes later, she pulls back, Resting her head against the wall. My lips find their way to her neck, then her collarbone, then her jaw. Careful not to leave too many purple bruises. Deciding that's enough teasing, I settle her down on her feet.

"We'll continue soon, princess." I whisper in her ear.

Sam smiles and kisses me.

"Most certainly."

I kiss her lips, again, before watching her walk inside.

The lights go on in her house and, even from five feet away, you can hear the yelling from her parents.

My heart aches as I know I can't save her tonight. My heart aches as I know she'll cry herself to sleep tonight. My heart aches as I know her heart aches.

One day, love. One day it'll just be you and I.

I take the long way to my house, in hopes Mum is still up. Indeed, she is.

"Did you guys make it alright?"

I nod.

"Mum, Sam got yelled at when she got home. Do you think maybe she can stay with us for a while? You know, until this all blows over?"

Mum sighs.

"Luke, honey, I don't know."

"Mum, please. Just for a while."

Mum gives in, with a sigh. "Oh, alright. But no freaky in my bed, understand."

I laugh. "Understood."

"Now, you need to shower for school. Then off to bed." Mum kisses my cheek as she leaves for her room. "I love you, Son."

"I love you, Mum."

I grab a bite to eat, shower, then lie down.

My head throbs at my thoughts of Sam.

I want her here. I need her here.

Tomorrow.
