Luke's P.O.V.

We pull into Sam's drive, and there are crowds of people surrounding her house.

"Uh, Sam..who's all these people?" I ask, carefully unbuckling.

"Just some people from school." Sam shuts the car off, and opens her door. "Are you coming?"

"Can you tell me what's going on?"

Sam sighs, sitting back. "I want it to be a surprise. You'll find out sometime when we get inside. Do you really want to know now?"

"I would just like to know why you're all dressed up, looking hot and all?"

She closes her door, swinging her perfectly straight hair behind her shoulders. "Well, it's hard to put into words. Maybe it'll make more sense if you come inside."

Giving in, I open my door and exit the car.

I can tell I hurt her by my actions from the way she slowly enters her own house.

There is loud music playing throughout the house, lights streamed in every room of the house, candles lit on the counter, placed beautifully centered between white and red rose peddles.

"Sam," I say, holding her had, "did you do all this?"

"Nope. It was my idea, Amy and Dyl just brought it to life."

"Can you tell me now why there is a huge ass party at your house? And why everyone, except I, is dressed up."

Sam halfheartedly smiles. "You'll see. I need to go find Amy. I'll be back, okay?"

I give her a nod and a kiss before she walks off. Two girls from school, Aleisha's friends, Kaylee and Jamie, show up to each side.

"Hi, Luke." Jamie, wearing a see through tight blue dress, says, flirtatious.

"Hi, Jamie." I say, trying to walk away. Kaylee pulls me back, unfortunately.

"Who's that tramp you're dating?" Kaylee runs her fingers up and down my arm, then across my face. "Wouldn't you rather be with this?" Kaylee runs her right hand across her chest, then lowering them to her bum.

As attractive as her body is, I'd prefer Samantha.

"No, actually, I wouldn't. I'd prefer Samantha."

Kaylee takes her semi-long silky lavender dress and pulls it up past her knee. "I can give you things Sam will never be able to."

"What's that? Aids?" I ask.

Kaylee narrows her eyes at me before spitting out, "Now I see why it never worked with you and Aleisha. You're too much of a damn prick." She storms off with a flick of her curls.

One down, one to go.

I search around for Sam, hoping she's making her way back to me.

"Hello, Luke." Jamie, once again, greets.

"Hey, Jamie." I walk away, towards the steps to Sam's room.

"Where do you think you're going?" Jamie pins me to the wall, a bit too close to my face.

"To find my girlfriend." I reply.

"Not just yet." Jamie kisses at my neck, then at my lips. I force the urge to kiss her away, thinking of only Sam.

I gain enough strength to push her off, and on her ass.

"Sam." I push past everyone, looking in every direction.

No one has seen her since we first arrived.

"Damnit." I yell, stressed and frustrated. Finally, I find Dylan, hopefully he can help. "Dylan!"

Dylan turns his head and smiles. "Hey, Luke."

"Hey. Uhm, have you seen your sister?"

"Nope."

"She said she came to find Amy." I state.

"She did. Then, I have no clue where she and Amy went." Dyl shrugs a hurtful shrug.

I panic and search the room. I fear she's with someone else.

"Attention, everyone." I hear after half an hour searching.

I walk to the front area where I see Sam gracefully standing in front of everyone.

"Sam!" I yell, making my way up front.

"As everyone knows, Luke and I have been dating for quite a long time. On and off, only once." Sam's eyes drift past the crowd, then back to me. "Luke, the whole way over you wouldn't stop asking why I was dressed up just to come back here. And right outside, you asked why everyone was crowded around outside. I'll tell you why. Amy and I threw this 'party' to test your love. I feel I'm not good enough, I'm not worthy of you or your love. I planned this to see if you really meant the words you said. While you spent almost the whole hour looking for me, I was standing right here, watching you. I thought for sure you would go flirt with someone else, Jamie and Kaylee even. I had set this all up. I wanted to see if it was true. Everything."

I smile, and reach out for her. She takes my hand, and hugs me. "I love you, Sam. I made the mistake once, and I won't do it again."

"I know, and I'm sorry," Sam kisses my had before speaking again, "that's why I got these." Amy hands Sam a bouquet of red, white, and lavender roses. "They're for you. Even if you don't like them. Red. Red roses mean "I love you" White roses mean "purity, innocence, and charm." Lavender roses mean "love at first sight." They're everything I can never use my words to say to you. They take my words and put them behind the meaning of their color. You're my everything, Luke."

I see tears form at the corner of Sam's eyes.

"Why white?" I ask, searching her eyes.

"White because you took my innocence."

"But..?" I question.

"I lied, Luke. You were my first everything. You make me pure. You, my one true love."

I kiss her lips, taking the roses. "I love you so much."

"And," she hands me two red roses, "two roses entwined together mean "I want to marry you," and believe me, I do."

Both our smiles grow bigger as she leans in.

"Samantha Hurt," I finally say, "I want to marry you someday. I want to have little Samantha's running around. I just want you forever. And if that doesn't prove my love for you, then I don't know what does."

"Kiss me, you idiot."

I greatly do as demanded.

Sam is my everything. I mean it when I say I love her and want to spend forever in her arms.
