"Luke," I say as we're lying on his bed, my head on his chest.
"Yeah?" Luke responds, fingers twirling around my hair.
"Never mind. It's nothing." I don't want to bring my thoughts up right now. I don't want him to ask questions.
"No, it's something. What is it?"
"It doesn't matter." I move around and lay my hand on the right part of his chest while my head remains on the left.
"Sam, you're going to tell me. You can't say my name, and then not finish your statement."
"Fine." I sigh. "Did you ever miss me?" I ask, voice shaky.
"What do you mean?" Luke rests his hand on my lower back, removing it from my hair.
"You know, when you forgot all about me for so long? When you dated Aleisha?"
Luke is silent, the only noise in the room our breathing. My hand falls and rises with his stomach as it rests there.
"Of course I did. I told you I did."
"No, I mean really miss me."
Luke moves his hand up and down my back, careful not to wrinkle my dress anymore.
"Yeah, more than ever."
"Then why didn't you talk to me again?"
"I didn't want to hurt Aleisha. We made this deal that we'd drop all our friends for each other. It was stupid. I regretted it so much."
"So, you chose your girlfriend over your friends? Wise decision, Luke." I sit up and unzip my dress.
"I can make wiser decisions," Luke sits up, and starts kissing at my neck.
"I'm sure you can," I say standing up so my dress can fall to the floor.
"Sam," Luke groans. "Don't tease me, baby."
"Oh," I turn around, fully exposed, "I'm not teasing. I'm just getting dressed." I leave his room, across the hall to gather some pajamas.
I find my pink and black plaid fuzzy pajama pants, and a oversized white t-shirt. I grab my hairbrush and easily slide it trough my curls. I grab my water bottle and pour a small amount on my hairbrush, sliding it through my fizzy hair. Once it's fizzed less, I grab a rubber band, place it in between my teeth, and begin braiding my hair.
My hair is a mixture of brown with a small amount of blonde. It reminds me of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, per say.
The length of my braid is down below my breasts by a few inches.
I go to the restroom and grab the makeup remover kit. I search around the kit for an eye wipe to remove my eyeliner and mascara.
"Damn," I say when I realize I used them all. "Guess I have to use a washcloth." I grab a washcloth from the cabinet and wet it down with water and Revelon's special makeup remover. I wipe my eyes, then the foundation off. The lipstick had already came off between the make out sessions Luke and I had have earlier.
I recheck myself in the mirror, passing. Every trace of make up is off. I remove myself from the front of the mirror, and back to Luke's room.
I find him peacefully sleeping, curled in a ball.
"Such a dork," I say with a smile. I walk over and cover his body with an extra blanket. "I love you, Luke." I kiss his cheek, then his nose. "So much."
Luke starts shuffling around the bed, bringing his blanket up to his chin. "Lay with me." His eyes pop open, looking straight into mine.
I lie on the other side of his body, pressing mine to his.
"I love you, Sam."
"I love you, too." I say, kissing his bare back. "I love you, too."
