Song: Oh Honey by Delegation

+Millie+

Mom was in her room listening to music at full blast. That's why the house was so noisy. But at least I could work on some of my stories. I'm finally getting around to writing one I've been wanting to write for over a month now. I don't have a name for it yet, but I definitely have most of the first chapter written.

'Chapter One
New Year, New Me

Miranda's older brother Fillip was throwing a New Years Eve party at their house. Of course Miranda had never been to a party before (unless birthdays as a young child count) so she was super excited to participate and maybe make a few friends. She skips into the living room, where Fillip was setting things up for the party. "I cannot wait till everybody gets here!" She exclaimed, jumping. Fillip rolled his eyes as he was straightening up the couch.

It dawned upon Miranda that she couldn't wear her current outfit to the party tonight. She needs to wear something that'll catch everybody's attention, something that makes her stand out. "Oh, what should I wear tonight? I was thinking of that yellow dress with the polka dots-" Fillip quickly cut her off. "What? You're not coming to the party." He let out a taunting chuckle, throwing his head back and causing his dramatic curls to expose his pale forehead and his ears.

Miranda quickly became disappointed and heart broken. She was under the impression that because the party was happening in her home, she could be a party-goer. "What? B-but that's not fair." She says in disbelief, hoping that Fillip would realize-'

The doorbell stood out from the music blaring down the hall. I shut off her laptop and ran downstairs to go answer the door. To my surprise, it was Sadie. I smiled genuinely. "Sadie, hi." I greet her enthusiastically. The red head bites her lip and looks me up and down. "What are you doing right now?" She asked, lightly bouncing her foot as she stood on the porch with a zip-up hoodie on in the hot ass weather. I seem to have stumbled over my words a bit as I answered. "Ju- uh, w-writing. Why?" Sadie snickers to herself at how she still managed to make me all flustered and nervous. "Get dressed. I wanna take you out." The red head tells me vaguely. I was intrigued, and also had nothing better to do.

Sadie took me to the mall. I hardly ever get to go to the mall, so I was really excited. But it's not just the mall, it's the International Mall in Tampa. Though I didn't have a lot of money. Actually, I had no money. I have to tell Sadie. "Um, Sadie, I don't really have money." Maybe taking me to the mall was a bad idea. The older girl giggles, her long shiny ponytail flipping around. "Mills, I'll pay for anything you want." She says so casually. My eyes grew to be about the size of cherry pies, I could feel it. How could she make a promise like that? "Seriously? No, I don't wanna spend too much of your money." "Baby, it's okay. I sling enough drugs to make enough money for these types of sprees." ...she just called me baby. Sadie called me baby. She looked like she meant it. The red head grabbed my hand and looked me in my eyes as she stepped closer. "Whatever you touch, I'll pay for it. Don't even worry about the cost." It felt wrong, having my...friend...partner...whatever buying things for me. I don't want her to waste her money on me and my stupid desires, but it's what she wants.

We sat in the food court, halfway through our shopping spree. I was sipping my strawberry frappuccino I got at the Starbucks kiosk, sitting next to my Gucci and my Apple shopping bags. Sadie sat across from me, her arms crossed on the table and her head resting on top of them. She took her hair down a little while ago and tied her hoodie around her waist. I think she looked beautiful. But then I realized she looked a little sad. "What's the matter?" I spoke up in concern. Sadie's eyes shifted onto me and she shook her head. "Nothing. I'm fine." She answered as she sat up and began to stretch in the chair. I finished off my frappe so I sat it down on the table. We sat in silence for a moment. I figured we hadn't gotten up just yet because she was still resting her feet after all that walking around we just did. I found this the perfect time to talk about the new nickname she has for me.

"Sadie?" I spoke up. She gazes over to me and I shyly purse my lips and glance at the table, trying to find the right words. "Um..did you mean to call me baby earlier?" I felt kind of awkward discussing it. But she just smiled and nods as she sat up straight. "Yeah. I did." The older girl confirms. I blush a little with a grin. I wonder if that means something. Does she wanna be more than friends? Are we more than friends? "Does- does that mean something?" I question. Sadie shrugged. "It means that you're my baby." I was still so confused. Does that mean she sees me as her daughter or...? Maybe I'm overthinking it. I do like the new little nickname. I don't know what I'm going to call her though. "Do you wanna hit up a few more stores?" She asked me. I nodded and we stood up to continue with our shopping.

It was probably getting close to midnight by now. Sadie was driving me home, Oh Honey by Delegation was softly playing over the radio while the backseat was loaded with shopping bags. Sadie was telling me about the time she witnessed Finn taking a bath fully clothed. "What?" I giggle out at how stupid it sounded. The girl explains. "He thought it would conserve water if he washed his clothes with him, I don't know he was drunk." She was smiling. "What did you do?" I ask. "Well I was high, so I thought it was a good idea and got in with him." I was cracking up at the ridiculous story.

Soon we got to my house and our laughs died down. I didn't want our time together to end. We just spent an entire day together and she bought me all of these nice things. I had to repay her obviously, right? "Do you wanna come in and like spend the night?" I ask. The red head thought about it for a moment and then shrugged. "Sure." She started to park her car as I was wiggling around in excitement. I haven't had a sleepover in years. But we might not do much sleeping, if you know what I mean. "Great, you can borrow some of my clothes if you want too." I tell her as she parked beside my moms car in the driveway. She nods. "That's sweet of you." She turned off her car. I started undoing my seatbelt, but then she stopped me to hold my face and kiss me. I obviously wasn't against it or offended. I kissed back. It's the perfect way to end the perfect day.

Omggggg I'm aliveeeeeeeee!!!!

I know, it's been awhile. I just don't think I wanna write fanfiction anymore or I think I don't wanna write certain things anymore. Idk I'm still trying to figure it out. Anyway I'm sorry I haven't been so active lately. I feel like ever since I started hoeing again I haven't really been on Wattpad much. Dick now occupies my life.

Would you like to go on a shopping spree? What would you buy?💊
