"Remember, we played against these girls at the last tournament, unfortunately, they won. Even if we're much better now, they could be too. Whether or not we win, I hope you girls have fun and really act like a team. Don't take it too hard if they win."

Luckily Sudou understood why she was in the bench. She was very understanding actually, she was quite sorry about the fact that she wasn't very great at defense.
Aoba Johsai was the first to serve. Their #3, their ace as it seemed, performed a powerful jump serve that Sasaki received, though they needed a cover. "I'm so sorry!"
"Don't mind!" Akiko shouted as she covered and set towards Aihara, who was preparing to spike.
Aihara cross spiked where there was an empty spot in their block, their blockers didn't react fast enough to move their hands. Their #5 received, a block-follow up, and set it towards their setter, who tossed to their ace. Their ace spiked right into Sasaki's receive.
Sasaki shanked it, unfortunately, the ball started flying behind her. "SORRY!"
"I said, don't mind!" Akiko shouted angrily.
Akiko took long strides towards the ball and dive received just before it could land on the floor two feet behind the out line. (It's not out if the team touches it.)
"Nice, Koisumi!" Michimiya shouted as she tossed it over the net.
Their team couldn't receive it, earning Karasuno a point.
"I'm so sorry, that set was all my fault!" Sasaki bowed at her team. Kikuchi slapped her back, making her yelp. "Don't worry, we got it anyway!" Kikuchi said.
