Chapter 6 ~ Unearthly Freak Quick

After three days of practicing spiking at the gym with Sugawara in the morning and practicing receiving at night with Tsukishima, I felt more than ready.

But, let's just say Kageyama and Hinata took it way more seriously than me.

They even trained during their lunch breaks!

After those three days, Yamaguchi and my friendship got better. Tsukishma, however, decided not to open up.

I only knew that he liked dinosaurs due to the fact he had some dinosaur plushies in his room. I snuck into his room by the way.

Finally, it was Saturday morning, the day of the match.

We were all gathered in the gym. And by we, I meant the whole team. Except for Kiyoko, who hadn't arrived yet.

I was the only one on my first year team stretching. "Why are you not stretching?" I asked Tsukishima while doing a split. Sure, most boys couldn't do a split and it might have given me away, but who cares? Kageyama in his stretching position was almost in a split.

Tsukishima didn't look at me until I said, "Blondie."

"Oh, I don't need to." I looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Cocky as shit."

"Uwa!" I heard someone exclaim. I looked behind me. "How the hell can you do a split!?" Tanaka shouted, pointing an incriminating finger at me. "Awesome!"

I stood up from my split and said in a duh tone, "Practice."

Though, I was incredibly happy to know that someone would praise me for a simple split. (Even if I don't know how to IRL.)

I did a hand stand and did like a push up but with a hand stand. I don't know how to call it. (I can't do a hand stand either)

"Show off." Someone scoffed.

I flipped forward into a sitting position and looked at Tsukishima, who had said that. "Jealous?"

Tsukishima shook his head with his eyes closed. "No."

I stood up and walked up to him. I came close to him and whispered in his ear. "Are you sure about that?"

Tsukishima obviously flinched. "Could you be anymore gayer?" He asked, eyes still closed. "I'm bisexual, not gay." I replied in a duh tone.

Then the doors opened to reveal Kiyoko in a white and blue striped track suit. "Ohayo Gozaimasu" She said.

Tanaka, who loves Kiyoko, immediately stopped stretching and went to Kiyoko.

"The beautiful girl. The beautiful girl is here!" Hinata exclaimed, turning to Kageyama. "Hey, hey. Is she the manager?"

Kageyama didn't reply to Hinata.

"Alright! Let's get started." Daichi said. "Koisumi will be with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi." He mostly said it to Hinata and Kageyama, who weren't present in the gym when he told us.

"Oh no." Hinata said. Why the heck would he say that? He turned to Kageyama again.

"When they were practicing on Thursday, the guy received pretty well!" Hinata exclaimed. They were watching us? Oh, right.

Daichi turned to my team. "Don't go easy on them."

I nodded.

"Uh." Tsukishima said out loud. He cleared his throat, making a lot of people look at him. He then turned to me with a smug expression.
