Chapter 16 ~ Johzenji High

"Your new glasses are so cool!" HINATA SHOUTED.

To someone who doesn't wear glasses, maybe they are. To someone who wears glasses, a.k.a. Tsukki and Akiko, it wasn't very different. Akiko really adored how Tsukishima looked without glasses, anyway.

Tsukishima said something about Hinata perceiving the glasses as 'cool' messing with his self-confidence, something Akiko didn't really understand.

Kei doesn't really care much about how others perceive him, so why would it matter? Or maybe it was the fact that Tsukki was very salty and Hinata barely ever complimented him.

The match started with Asahi's jump serve, but no doubt was Akiko's better. Not that Asahi's was horrible, it was just that Akiko was taught by Oikawa, the Grand King himself. The aiming part of Asahi's serve wasn't very good, he'd served it right into their #7.

Though his aiming wasn't great, his power was absolutely amazing, as he was the ace.

#7 received it, needing a cover. Their libero covered it but he ended up getting the ball further into the back of the court. They called for the blonde flirt, Terushima it seems, to get the last receive.

Surprising everyone, Terushima jumped up and spiked the ball from way back on the court and got it to Karasuno's side.

None of her team reacted, and Akiko was slightly pissed, both at her team and the other team's captain.

'Even if it seemed impossible that that guy would spike it over from the back, you saw it coming.' and 'I refuse to believe that blonde is that good. He looks like a himbo.'

"Yahoo!" The blonde jumped up and celebrate.

'Mario..'

Next rally, they served and Asahi got it. Tanaka called for a spike and got it right past their one blocker, but their #2 barely got it.

The blocker went to get it with his hand but missed so he used his leg instead, falling on his back right afterwards. Akiko could feel how much that hurt even from the stands. They didn't even have any benched players incase they got hurt and they pulled off stuff like that.

Their #9 jumped up and spiked the ball down, and from a leg receive at that.

Asahi was one step too late for the receive.

Johzenji jumped up again and celebrated, all of them screaming 'Yahoo' this time. 

'The party team, huh?'

The same person served, this time he hit the net dead center with his serve. Johzenji, instead of something like Kageyama screaming out "BOKE!", ran over to the player and laughed with him.

Next rally, they did a normal attack, an A quick, without any uncertainties like the ones before. It was surprising, but of course they'd be able to pull off something normal.

The rally after that one they served but got a net in, luckily Tanaka got it but the ball was speeding over the end line in no time.
