Chapter 15 ~ Progress

i lost my glasses two months ago and now i found them so i can do the anime guy pushing his glasses up meme while writing this shit which is often cause these bitches slide down a lot

"Tsukki! Jump block for me, HEY HEY HEY!"

"The title is: Boku gets rejected by a student from another school."

"Yes. Thanks for working with me."

AKIKO WHIPPED HER HEAD TO FACE HER BOYFRIEND, surprised he'd actually accepted the offer. Bokuto, Akaashi, and that other guy who was their libero, Komi, all seemed surprised as well.

'So you've been trying to improve too?' Akiko thought, 'I'm so proud Tsukki 😭'

"AKIKO!" Akiko got startled when Bokuto suddenly screamed at her. "I didn't get to tell you this last time, but you're amazing for a--"

He stopped himself from finishing his sentence because of Akiko's death glare. She took slow, anxiety-inducing steps towards Bokuto, still holding that scary glare. "You didn't tell your coach, did you?" She whispered.

Bokuto looked like he was about to scream even more with every step she took.

"N-N-N-N-No! I swe-swear I didn't. Don't kill me!" Bokuto shrieked when Akiko stopped right in front of him, bracing his head with his arms.

"Koisumi-san." Akiko stopped glaring just to look at Akaashi with an innocent look.

"Please don't kill our ace." The owl mom said, deadpan as ever.

Akiko groaned, throwing her hands up in the air. "Fine. Bokuto-senpai," The energetic owl yelped at the mention of his name.

"You're off the hook." She said with a fake sweet voice. "Also, don't be sexist, please?"

"Y-Yeah!"

The girl walked off to her boyfriend, who was smirking at them the whole time. Tsukishima laughed softly, muttering a small good job to her.

Bokuto hesitantly stopped bracing himself when Akiko walked off.

"Akiko!"

"Kuroo!"

"Hey!" They greeted each other with high-10s. "How've you been?" The two proceeded to have a normal conversation, with a few remarks about what happened earlier with Bokuto.

The first weekend training camp at Tokyo went by in a breeze, Akiko even got to be in a few matches. She was glad she could tell that she'd improved.

The rest of the month also went by quickly, though rather painfully. Akiko and Tsukishima continued to practice with the Kaji Wild Dogs, which is when the purple haired girl realized her salty boyfriend started wrapping his fingers. Every weekend, unless she went to practice with the grown ups, Akiko would go practice with Oikawa on her jump serves.

And then came the second weekend training camp...
