Chapter 23- Childish

Angel's POV

"Okay we have a free day today before the adult battles start so what you guys want to do?" I asked excitedly, rushing into their room.

It's roughly nine, we are usually- well I'm usually up by 6:00 a.m and the kids would wake up whenever. As expected I found them snoring away, Rose was squished between the overgrown kids. Despite Angelo's calm and collected personality, he is a big cuddler and as the grip of a boa constrictor. I search for my missing angel and found her curl on the couch head buried in a book. Man, she's worse than me!

"What do you want to do, Diana?" I asked, she didn't spare me a glance.

"Nothing."

"Come on, don't be like that Di Di. Take your eyes out of the book and look at what's around you."

"I'll pass."

I pouted but it was quickly replace with a mischievous grin, I scooted closer to her and attacked her sides. Giggles erupted and engulf the room in a light, childish and joyful mood. Her giggles were filled with so much youthfulness and innocence, that's something you don't get to here often because of there awfully mature mind.

"S-stop m-m-ma! Sta-a-awp!!" She wiggled trying to escape my teasing grip, her book long forgotten.

"I will if you let me treat you guys today." I laughed at her bright face and melodious giggles.

"B-but why?" She forced out through her giggling state.

"Because you guys would let me spoil you anymore." I stated sadly, "well except Angela, she loves spending money."

"Fine." I stopped my torture and sit onto the couch, she fixed her blouse but her smile never left her face.

"How about you surprise us?" She negotiated, hmm that sounds way more fun. This would work to my advantage.

"Deal!"

"Good, now let's go wake up the demons." I looked at her, "the angels."

****************

"Here we are!" I announced cheerfully, staring out at the beautiful body of water.

The lake was clear and the trees created a shield over it and cast a shadow over the area. There were a few others here but they were on the other side of it's vast body. A grin grew on my face at the scene of Angelo rushing to the lake with excitement, the other two trailing behind him.

"Hold up guys." Angelo pressed hard on his brakes almost toppling over by his momentum.

He turned with a childish pout adorning his define face, one I haven't seen in a long time. "You got to change in your swim wear first."

"But we didn't bring any!" Angelo look ready to burst into tears right there thinking he would have to waiting longer to go back to change.

I sighed heavily, "Come on, do you really think I would walk around with this oversize bag for fun."

"True." I rolled my eyes and took their swimwear out, they quickly went into the trees safety to change.

Angelo changed in a jiffy, in his excitement he threw his clothes my direction. I had half a mind to call him back and make him fold them and put them away properly but I couldn't bring myself to. When was the last time I had every seen him so excited well apart from training? I missed their childish giggles and excited faces as the play around but now all they want to do is train, train and train. Who always want to train?! Oh wait, I face palmed, they got it from me.
